Drug dealer caught escaping from prison while dressed as elderly grandmother

(Scroll down for video) A drug dealer who disguised himself as an elderly grandmother in order to escape from position, was caught after the guards did not see a woman entering the prison that day, police in Brazil said.

The drug dealer, who is serving a 36 year prison sentence in Aparecida de Goiania, managed to acquire a grandmother mask valued at $5,000.

44-year-old Clodoaldo Antonio Felipe is serving his time at the Coronel Odenir Guimaraes Prison, and is scheduled to be released at the age of 74.

Felipe, who is part of the criminal organization Comando Vermelho, put on the mask and women’s clothes before walking out of the prison.

However, his plan was foiled because the prison guards had not noticed an old woman entering the premises that day.

When the guards questioned him, they realized that the grandmother was really a young man. The prison guards said that the elderly woman seemed to tall for her age.

Police are currently investigating how the high-priced masked was smuggled into the prison.
