A woman was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly throwing a hot dog at a pregnant woman who was pumping gas into her car, police in Florida said.
Marion County police said that they have arrested 18-year-old Justice Amber Gough, after being accused of challenging the pregnant woman to a fight before punching and scratching her.
Gough was charged with one count of assault. She was booked into the Marion County Jail and released after posting $5,000 bail.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded at the Kangaroo Express service station, which is located on East County Road 25 in Belleview.
The 18-year-old victim, was purchasing gas along with family members around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, when Gough stopped at the pumps.
Gough asked the woman is she wants to fight. When the victim said “no,” Gough threw a hot dog at her face. Gough then punched and scratched her face.
The victim suffered minor injuries, and she and her unborn baby are said to be in good condition.
