Four police officers were arrested after they were caught hiding in a toilet to avoid paying their train tickets.
Police in India, said that the four police officers were given fines of Rs 900 ($13.75) each for traveling on the train without tickets.
The officers were found hiding in the bathroom of the Mahakaushal Express on Thursday. These police officers boarded the train from Agra and New Delhi, without paying for the trip.
As soon as the train crossed the Billochpura train station, they were caught hiding in the bathroom as a team of railway officials assisted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), boarded the train and demanded to see people’s tickets.
The identities of the officers were not revealed. In addition to the police officers, 75 passengers who were traveling without tickets, were fined. Police collected more than 44,000 rupees ($672) in fines. Three passengers who did not pay the penalty, were sent to jail.
