(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly beating his girlfriend because she brought home the wrong brand of toilet paper, police in Indiana said.
Muncie police said that they have arrested 27-year-old Bryan Edward Alwine, after being accused injuring his girlfriend in a fight over toilet paper.
Alwine was charged with domestic battery. He was booked into the Delaware County jail. He was released after posting bail.
According to the police investigation, Alwine pushed his girlfriend with great force during the argument about toilet paper.
As a result of the push, the woman flew out of the house, which is located on the 1200 block of West First Street, and landed on the road.
She injured her right knee and elbow.
The woman told investigators that they had been arguing all afternoon about the toilet paper because Alwine only wants to use a specific brand.
