The Omaha Police Department said that they have arrested 33-year-old Jacqueline Eide, after a tiger bit her hand while she was petting it at the Henry Doorly Zoo on Sunday.

Police were called to the Creighton University Medical Center, after she was very aggressive and uncooperative with doctors and nurses.

Police learned that Eide, who was drunk, broke into the zoo and went over to the tigers. She petted one tiger, and in response, the animal bit her left hand.

She suffered injuries to several fingers. A spokesperson for the hospital said that Eide is in good condition. Eide was charged with criminal trespass.
