A book author was arrested on a charge of assault after breaking a wine bottle over a teen’s head because she wrote a bad review, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 28-year-old Richard Brittain of Bedford, has pleaded guilty to assault after being accused of attacking 18-year-old Paige Rolland, while she was working in an Asda supermarket in Fife, Scotland.

According to the police investigation, Brittain became angry that Rolland has published part of his book, The World Rose, on Wattpad.

Rolland gave the book a bad review. Rolland read some of the material and gave negative feedback. Brittain then hunted down Rolland, and went to the Asda store, where she worked.

Brittain went to the alcohol aisle and took a bottle of wine. He approached the victim, and broke the wine bottle over her head.

Rolland was taken to a hospital for a cut on the head.
