A farmer in Scotland, was devastated to find that one of his cows has died after allegedly suffering a heart attack as a result of a fireworks display.
David Reid of Panmurefield, said that a large crowd assembled at the Broughty Ferry Baptist Church, to watch a 20-minute fireworks display on Saturday.
Reid believes that the fireworks display is responsible for the death of one of his cows. He found the dead animal on Sunday morning, and believe it died of a heart attack as a result of the noise.
When the fireworks started going off, he knew that the display will cause problems with his cows.
He expected to find his cows running around on the road, but in the end, he found one 5-year-old cow lying dead on the ground.
Reid took the cow to a veterinarian to take blood samples from the cow to ensure that it did not die of a disease.
Dr. Brian Talbot of the Broughty Ferry Baptist Church, apologized and said that he is very sorry to hear that his fireworks display caused distress to the cows on Reid’s farm.
