(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of manslaughter after he admitted to accidentally shooting his female lover while having sex in a hotel room, police in Florida said.

Tampa police said that they have arrested 21-year-old Tyrone Fields, after being accused of killing 18-year-old Christina Meagher, while they were engaged in freaky sex.

Fields was charged with one count of manslaughter and felony discharge with the result of death. Fields was booked into the Hillsborough County jail, and his bail was set at $30,000.

According to the police investigation, officers were called to the Regency Inn and Suites on Church Avenue on Saturday around 2:00 a.m.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, were approached by Fields, who showed them to the room, where Meagher was lying in bed with a gunshot wound to the head.

She was taken to the St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he later died of her wounds. Fields admitted to shooting the victim, but said it had been during “freaky sex.”

He and Meagher met two days ago for the first time. They were involved in a role-play scenario in which put he a gun to her head.

Fields claims that he removed the magazine from his gun, but forgot to remove the bullet from the chamber. He intentionally pulled the trigger as part of the role play, and it fired a single bullet into her head.

Surveillance video show both Meagher and Fields entering the room. In addition, tests did not show any injury consistent with sexual assault, indicating that the sexual encounter was consensual.
