A woman of the United Kingdom, was left bloody after being hit in the face by a group of teenagers who shoplifted at Tesco.
Emilie Martin, 29, of London, was left covered in blood from a wound to her left eye following the attack.
However, Martin said that no one at Tesco came to her aid. When someone handed her a pack of frozen peas to ease her pain, the Tesco Superstore in Hackney, said that she will have to pay for the bag.
Martin said that the store manager informed her that the gang of teenagers who attacked her, rob the supermarket every night and the staff just let them.
Martin said that she saw the teenagers dropping their bikes near the supermarket door and walking inside. They stole cans of Coca-Cola and sandwiches.
Martin informed a worker about the theft. The teenagers overheard her and waited for her outside the store. When she exited the store, she was attacked, and they stole her phone so she cannot call the police.
Martin said that she will never return to Tesco, because of the way they treated her.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “This is now a police matter.” Tesco handed over surveillance videos of the incident to the police, but they never called Martin to check on her welfare.
