A woman was arrested on a charge of assault on a police officer after allegedly kicking a police officer’s private parts because he arrested her friend, police in Florida said.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office said that they have arrested 27-year-old Jennifer Nagy, after being accused of assaulting a police officer as her friend was being led to jail.

Nagy was charged with two counts of battery on a police officer and one count each of resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.

Nagy was booked into jail, and her bail was set at $9,000.

According to the police investigation, Nagy was at the Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre on Sunday night for a concert by the Zac Brown Band, when her friend, 29-year-old Brooke Meredith Lees, was arrested.

Nagy became angry and tried to free her friend from police custody. Nagy grabbed an officer’s shoulder. Another officer grabbed Nagy by the hair and dragged her on the ground.

While Nagy was led to a police car, she kicked the deputy in the private parts.

Lees was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence. Lees was booked into jail and released without bail.
