Officials in Indonesia, are planning to replace prison guards with crocodiles after some of them were caught smuggling drugs into prison.

Officials announced their plan to place crocodiles in prisons where drug offenders are being held.

Officials said that they want to reduce the possibility of death row inmates convicted on drug charges from escaping by bribing the guards.

The Drug Enforcement Agency has presented plans to build a new kind of prison, which will replace some of the human guards with crocodiles.

“You can’t bribe crocodiles. You cannot convince them to let prisoners escape,”anti-drug chief Budi Waseso said.

The plan is still on the drawing board at this point, but officials seem to be convinced that staffing the prison with fierce reptiles along with some human guards is a good idea.
