Hotel worker drags colleague into room and tries to rape her

A popular Olympics athlete was arrested on a charge of obtaining the sexual services of a child after having sex with teenage girl and recording the acts on his cellphone, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 41-year-old David Smith of Grimsby, was sentenced to serve two years in jail after pleading guilty to six counts of obtaining the sexual services of a child.

According to the police investigation, Smith met his 14-year-old victim on the Internet, and proceeded to take advantage of her vulnerability.

He arranged a number of meetings with her, during which sexual activity occurred in return for 25 pounds ($38). The activity was recorded on his mobile phone on a number of occasions.

Smith represented Great Britain at hammer-throwing in the 1996 Olympics.
