(Scroll down for video) A woman was killed after she jumped out of a moving car.
Police in Delaware, said that an argument between a married couple took a fatal turn when the woman decided to jump out of the moving vehicle.
It happened in the southbound lanes of the I-495 near the intersection of I-95 in Newport around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday.
Police said that the husband and wife, who are from Maryland, were arguing when the woman decided to jump from the moving car and was hit by a passing vehicle.
She was rushed to Christiana Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Police said that the victim may have been drinking prior to the incident.
The I-495 was closed for approximately two hours, while the accident was being investigated.
