A young man died of a heart attack after biting his girlfriend and mother while he was high on drugs, police in Georgia said.

The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said that 32-year-old Chase Alan Sherman, died during a struggle with the police after being called to the scene by his mother and girlfriend.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said that Sherman’s mother, Mary Ann Sherman, called police around 9:00 p.m. on Friday, saying that her son is out of control.

Mary Ann Sherman told police on the phone that she, her husband, her son and her son’s girlfriend are in her car and traveling south on Interstate 85.

She advised police that her son was going crazy after consuming a synthetic drug. She also said that her son was biting his girlfriend and herself, and she doesn’t know how to stop him.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, tried to detain Chase Alan Sherman, but he resisted. During the fight, one of the officers used a stun gun, but he continued to resist.
