A man was arrested by police after employees of a store thought that he is about to rob them because he was wearing a mask and gloves, police in Florida said.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 29-year-old Kyle Seaman, after being accused of walking around in Walgreens with a mask on his face.
He was charged with one count of wearing a mask, hood, or other device on public property. Seaman was not charged with robbery or attempted robbery.
According to the police investigation, officers received a call from employees of the Walgreens located in the 5700 block of 20th Street, about a suspicious man wearing a mask on Friday around 3:00 a.m.
Police officers who arrived at the scene, saw Seaman with black gloves and a mask on top of his head next to the cash register.
He also kept a hand in his shirt, making it look like he had a weapon. After being ordered to leave the store, he asked why everyone thought he was about to rob the place.
