A student who was on vacation with his friends, was rushed to a hospital after being set on fire, causing him to suffer burn wounds, police in Australia said.

Queensland police said that the 17-year-old boy identified as Steve, has been drinking with friends when one of them began to burn everyone’s hair.

The person, who was not identified, eventually turned to Steve and set fire to the hair of his behind. However, Steve forgot to mention that he had traces of alcohol on his behind, after spraying himself, and the fire quickly spread.

After screaming in pain, redness began to from.

Steve and his colleagues visited a nearby medical tent, where he was instructed to go to the hospital and put water on the affected area.

He sat in a tub of water until an ambulance arrived to take him to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he was treated for a superficial burn wound on his behind.

The friend who caused the injury, was not arrested.
