15-year-old girl suffers spinal injuries after she and 3 girlfriends robbed taxi driver

Three young teenagers were arrested and their friend was hospitalized with severe injuries after they tried to rob a taxi driver.

Police in Australia, said that a 15-year-old girl suffered spinal injuries and three of her friends have been arrested after the group allegedly tried to rob the taxi driver in Sydney.

The group were riding in the taxi on Regent Street in Campbelltown around 10:00 p.m., when they ordered the driver to hand over his money.

During the robbery, the taxi driver veered off the road and crashed into an electrical box.

The 15-year-old girl was seriously injured in the accident. She was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Her friends, a 14-year-old girl and two 15-year-old girls, were arrested at the scene and charged with robbery.

The three girl appeared in juvenile court, where they were denied bail. The driver was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.
