Man found sleeping behind the wheel of car on roof of shoe store

(Scroll down for video) Police were called after a man was seen driving erratically.

Officer who arrived at the scene, looked for the car, but it wasn’t on the road.

The car was found on the roof of a shoe store.

Police in Saline County, Arkansas, said that the drunk driver drove onto the roof of the shoe warehouse from the back of the building, where the roof is at ground level.

47-year-old William Dickerson was arrested, and is now facing a series of charges.

Benton Police were called about 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, on a report of reckless driving. When they arrived at the scene, they found the car had veered of the road and drove onto the roof of the store.

Dickerson was found sleeping behind the wheel, police said.

He faces charges including DWI, possession of methamphetamine and driving with a suspended license.

Police said that Dickerson was on probation at the time of the incident.
