A robber managed to steal more than a half a million dollars from a money truck by dressing as a security guard, police in Michigan said.
The Detroit Police Department said that they are looking to arrest the man who fled with more than $500,000 in cash after carrying out a robbery outside the Greektown Casino.
According to the police investigation, the suspect did not use any weapons and did not threaten anyone while committing the robbery.
The money was taken by the man dressed as a security guard.
He approached a Loomis armored truck that was parked at the intersection of Beaubien and Monroe around 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
The suspect approached the rear of the vehicle, took bags of money and fled. There were no injuries and the incident is under investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said.
