A man was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing a man before going to a strip club to relax his mind, police in Florida said.

Riviera Beach police said that they have arrested 41-year-old Rodney Chavers, after being accused of killing 42-year-old Tarrie Wilder.

Chavers was charged with one count of second-degree murder.

He was booked into the Palm Beach County jail, and he was denied bail. According to the police investigation, on Friday around 11:30 p.m., police officers patrolling on the street heard gunshots.

Moments later, police found the victim identified as Wilder, dead on the sidewalk near the 500 block of West 4th Street.

Meanwhile, Chavers went to the Sugar Daddy’s Gentlemen Club, in order to relax his mind following the murder. Once inside the club, Chavers pulled out a gun and handed it over to another man.

The man who took the gun, told police that he thought Chavers handed him the gun in order to get a lap dance. After a while, the man was worried about getting caught with the gun, so he went looking for Chavers.

Chavers was then kicked out of the club for fighting with other customers.

Chavers managed to get a ride, and at some point, he told the driver that he had just killed a man because he punched him in the face.

After Chavers fell asleep, the driver called the police.
