(Scroll down for video) Two students were arrested on a charge of indecent exposure after being caught wearing saggy pants, police in Tennessee said.

Now, the two students of Bolivar, who were not identified, were sentenced to serve 48 hours in jail after being convicted of indecent exposure.

According to the police investigation, the school resources officer reprimanded the two high school students several times, for violating the dress code of the Bolivar Central High School.

The two students were wearing their pants very low, exposing their behinds. At some point, the two were charged with indecent exposure.

Most residents are angry with the sentence, saying that sending children to jail for wearing saggy pants is unacceptable.

Police said that two other students were also charged with indecent exposure for wearing saggy pants, but they didn’t get a jail sentence.
