Cape Coral police said that they have arrested 23-year-old Tarnisha Gilyard, after being accused of threatening to kill people at the Burger King located on Del Prado Boulevard, because employees failed to make her the sandwich that she wanted.

Gilyard was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of marijuana possession. She was booked into the Lee County jail, and her bail was set at $32,500.

According to the police investigation, on Tuesday around 6:00 p.m., Gilyard, placed an order at the drive-thru window before calling the store to say that the order was prepared wrong.

She went into the store and threw down the bag of food before cursing the workers. Gilyard was upset that her crispy chicken sandwich wasn’t prepared plain.

Gilyard threatened to get a gun and shoot people with it. She also threatened to spray up the Burger King with bullets.

Gilyard then pulled out a black baton and struck the counter several times with it. Employees told police that they feared for their lives.
