(Scroll down for video) A homeless shelter in Kentucky, is being criticized because of its decision to kick out women who were having sex with men in the facility.

The director of the Emergency Christian Ministries of Williamsburg, said that he couldn’t accept the fact that the women were having sex at the shelter.

He was asked about 12 women to leave the shelter. Since there are more men than women, the director decided that the women should relocate rather than the men.

However, critics say that the shelter discriminated against the women as the men are just as responsible for the sex acts. The shelter also decided to turn away girls from the shelter, but they will accept boys.

The Emergency Christian Ministries is the only homeless shelter in Williamsburg. The mayor of the city, Roddy Harrison, said that he does not support the decision of the shelter.

Billy Woodward, the director of the shelter, said that he made his decision based on the Bible. He said that what was happening in the shelter was sinful.
