A man was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly shoving a chocolate bar into the face of an artist, police in New York said.
The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 35-year-old Eliexer Reyes of Manhattan, after being accused of a random attack against 33-year-old Ian Sklarsky.
Reyes was charged with one count of assault and one count of harassment. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $500.
According to the police investigation, on Tuesday night, Reyes walked up to Sklarsky, and pushed a Snickers bar into the victim’s face and mouth.
The incident unfolded at the Times Square train station around 12:30 a.m.
When Sklarsky asked Reyes why he attacked him with the chocolate bar, Reyes hit him repeatedly in the face. Sklarsky suffered a cut lip and bruised nose.
