(Scroll down for video) Members of an all female music group were surprised to be detained at the Los Angeles International Airport in California, after being accused of prostitution, the managers of the group said.
The incident unfolded on Wednesday, when the Oh My Girl of South Korea, arrived at the airport and were on their way to perform at an event.
Officials at the airport mistook the girls for prostitutes due to the large number of costumes they were carrying with them.
The 8 girls were questioned and detained by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection for 15 hours. The teenage members were scheduled to perform at an event in Los Angeles, and hold a photo shoot.
The representatives of the group also made reference to a visa problem, saying that the group did not legally need visas because they were participating in a promotional event.
