Driving instructors in the Netherlands, are now able to accept sexual favors instead of cash as payment for lessons.
Justice minister Ard van der Steur and transport minister Melanie Schultz van Haegen, announced that driving schools are not breaking the law by accepting sexual favors instead of cash as payments for driving lessons.
In order for the transaction to be legal, both the instructor and the student must be over 18 years old, and the student cannot offer sex in exchange for lessons.
However, the officials noted that despite the fact that the practice is legal, it remains undesirable. The service is called Ride for a Ride, and the instructor must pay taxes on the income.
Conservative politicians in the country however, are trying to ban the practice.
