Waynesboro police said that they have arrested 24-year-old Kyle Dustin Head, after being accused of sitting his car and being covered in marijuana.
Head was charged with one count of marijuana possession, and was released from jail on his own recognizance. According to the police investigation, Head placed a 911 call and requested some marijuana rolling papers.
The dispatcher sent officers to Head’s location in the 1800 block of North Talbott Place. Two officers who arrived at the scene, found Head sitting in his car, which had a strong odor of marijuana.
Officers found loose particles of leafy plant material on the dashboard, passenger seat and on Head’s clothing. Some marijuana was also found in Head’s ear.
Head explained that he was smoking marijuana and needed additional rolling papers. Instead of calling his friend, he misdialed and called the police.
