A homeless man in Maryland, was arrested for stabbing a good Samaritan while demanding more money.
Anne Arundel County Police said that 52-year-old Edward Wayne Kramer, stabbed the man in the forehead after the victim gave him money.
The 41-year-old man was on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie around 3:20 p.m., when Kramer asked for money, police said in a press release.
Police said that the victim gave the panhandler a few dollars and walked away. However, the beggar became violent, stabbed the man in the head and demanded more money.
Kramer then threatened to stab him again and set him on fire because he did not hand over more money. When the good Samaritan did not hand over his wallet, Kramer stole it and fled. He was arrested shortly thereafter.
Kramer was charged with attempted murder and several other crimes.
