(Scroll down for video) A mother in the United Kingdom, is grateful that her young daughter helped save her life and the life of her unborn baby.

3-year-old Emma Bazzard was given a bravery award after she called 999 to save the life of her pregnant mother.

27-year-old Catherine Bazzard of Nailsea, Somerset, fell down a flight of stairs and fell in and out of consciousness when her daughter called for help.

Emma called 999 and calmly explained that her mother fell down the stairs with “a baby in her tummy.” The 3-year-old girl stayed on the phone with a dispatcher for 11 minutes, until help arrived.

South Western Ambulance Service released the 11-minute transcript of her call as Emma was awarded a bravery award for her life-saving efforts.

Emma was heard comforting her pregnant mother while waiting for an ambulance to arrive at their home.

Catherine spent a few days in a hospital after the fall forced her into premature labor. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

“Emma is a true hero,” her mother said.

The following is a transcript of the emergency call:

Emma: Mummy fall down the stairs, and she got a baby.

Dispatcher: Was she holding the baby when she fell, darling?

Emma: Yeah.

Dispatcher: Are mummy and the baby awake?

Emma: Mummy is asleep.

Dispatcher: Is the baby asleep?

Emma: I don’t know.

Dispatcher: All right, my darling. Is she breathing?

Emma: Yeah. She’s waking up now.

Dispatcher: Well done. Is mummy bleeding?

Emma: No.

Dispatcher: Where is mummy hurt?

Emma: [To her mother] Where are you hurt? Mummy’s head is hurt.

Dispatcher: How old is the baby?

Emma: It’s in mummy’s tummy.

Dispatcher: Is mummy hurt anywhere else?

Emma: No, she has gone back to sleep.

Dispatcher: OK. The ambulance is coming. Is your door locked?

Emma: No.

Dispatcher: Emma you are a superstar. Did she go all the way down the stairs?

Emma: Yeah. It was a bit scary.

Dispatcher: What is your mommy doing now?

Emma: I am giving her a cuddle.

Dispatcher: You are giving mommy a cuddle, good girl.

Emma: Yeah.

Dispatcher: You let me know when you can see the ambulance.

Can you see the men in the green suits yet?

Emma: Yes. They are here.

Paramedic: Yes. We’re here. We’re in.
