Bulls profiles
By: Feng Qian

A new website allows owners of cows and bulls to find matches for their animals to get them to reproduce.

The company that operates the website, which is based in France, is seeking to revolutionize breeding at dairy farms in the country.

The website titled “find the right bull,” has already attracted hundreds of profiles of cows and bulls. The animal dating website is much like a normal dating website.

Each cow and bull comes complete with an extensive family tree to determine their breeding quality.

The website was launched by a group of breeding associations.

Breeders can input details about their cows, such as their age and race as well as what characteristics they are looking to improve on the flock such as milk, growth, muscle development or skill of labor.

Once done, matched profiles pop up on the screen, and the hardest part is deciding which mate to take. Once a choice is made, a semen sample is sent and the breeding process begins through artificial insemination.

A man managed to stay out of jail by handing over his Nike shoes to the court instead of cash.

Jason Duval, 39, of Framingham, Massachusetts, offered to hand over his Nike shoes he received as a gif.

Judge Douglas Stoddart agreed to take the new Nike shoes that are worth about $85 in exchange for his release.

The incident began when the Framingham Police arrested Duval in his apartment located at 27 Henry Street on Thursday, on an outstanding warrant.

The arrest warrant was issued after Duval was charged with two counts of possession of a Class B substance, possession of a Class C substance and driving to endanger.

Those charges would have been dismissed if he paid the court fees. However, when he failed to pay the $450 in court costs, an arrest warrant was issued and Duval was arrested.

In court, Duval told the judge that he was going through a divorce and had no money. Judge Stoddart did not want to release him without posting bail as he had not paid his outstanding fees.

The judge offered to send Duval to jail for a few days and drop the fine, but Duval said he did not want that to happen.

“I'll give you the opportunity to be creative,” the judge said. “If you can come up with a creative idea to convince me that you will come back to court then I'll work with you,” he added.

After a short break, Duval offered his new Nike shoes. Stoddart took those as security. Duval will get the shoes back after he pays his fine in weekly installments of $25.
