|Shirt tells women to wash clothes|
(Scroll down for video) A company in Indonesia, was slammed after writing on clothing that it is the woman’s job to do the laundry.
Now, the sports apparel company issued an apology after being widely criticized for using labels considered sexist.
"Give this shirt to your wife. It's her job," one of the labels in shirts designed by Salvo Sport for the local football club wrote under the washing instructions.
After the images of the labels appeared online, it provoked criticism on social networks.
The company finally issued an apology on Twitter, saying that they just wanted to imply that women are better than men in the task of washing clothes.
“Instead of complaining, it is better to let the women do the washing. There was no intention to insult women. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Men do not know how to take care of their clothes and women are much better at this,” the company wrote on Twitter.
