DeKalb County Police said that they arrested 53-year-old R&B singer Angie Stone, after being accused of knocking out some of the teeth of her daughter with a metal stand.
She has been charged with one count of aggravated assault. According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded while she was arguing with her 30-year-old daughter.
The singer told officers that her daughter, Diamond, first punched her in the face and she used the metal stand to defend herself.
Police said that the blow knocked out several of Diamond's front teeth. A family friend separated the fight. Diamond told police that the argument began after the singer told her to clean and keep her children under control.
