(Scroll down for video) A mother in Minnesota, demanded a refund from Priceline after her baby managed to rent a car for her upcoming vacation without her consent.
Now, the travel company that operates priceline.com, decided to refund the woman $600.
The incident began when 8-month-old Daniel Ellingson rented a minivan for $600 for a family trip to Hawaii. The mother was not ready to book the van when Ellingson leaned forward and pressed the enter key.
His parents immediately realized the mistake and tried several times to get a refund. Customer service however, said that the fine print states that rental cars are not refundable.
After several weeks, Priceline had a change of heart. They agreed to make an exception to their policy due to the very unusual circumstances surrounding the rental reservation.
