Tesco supermarket drags customer to court for spilling $2 bottle of milk

A shopper at Tesco, who spilled a bottle of milk, was dragged to court and ordered to pay the company, according to court documents in the United Kingdom.

The Llandrindod Wells Magistrate’s Court heard that 40-year-old Cornelius Price, threw the bottle after becoming angry.

He was also verbally abusive and escorted off the premises.

Price pleaded guilty to criminal damage, saying that he threw the milk towards the store manager before it accidentally spilled on the floor.

He was told to return the milk that he was holding and leave the store , but he didn’t listen and threw it. Price was ordered to pay Tesco 1.50 pounds ($2.25) in compensation, which is the price for the bottle of milk.

Price also received a fine of 75 pounds ($111), ordered to pay 20 pounds ($29) in victim surcharges and 85 pounds ($126) in court costs.

Parents sue sperm bank after learning that their son’s father is a schizophrenic criminal

A couple in Canada, filed a lawsuit against a sperm bank after giving them sperm from a schizophrenic criminal, according to court documents filed in Georgia.

Angela Collins and Margaret Elizabeth Hanson thought they were opting for a highly educated man with an impressive record of health when they selected a donor from the sperm bank to start their family.

Several years after the birth of their son, the couple of Port Hope, Ontario, learned that they were not told that their donor was a college dropout with a criminal record who suffers from schizophrenia.

Now, the couple is seeking damages for pain, suffering and financial losses against Xytex Corp., alleging that they engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, negligence and battery.

The two are not the only people affected by the donor. He has already fathered 36 children. Xytex however, denied that it failed to meet the highest standards for testing.

The couple chose their donor after being told that he is working on his PhD in Neuroscience Engineering, had a Masters in Artificial Intelligence and was mature beyond his age.

The couple was also told by Xytex, that they had done everything possible to ensure that the man was genuine and healthy.

The couple learned the truth about the donor after receiving a number of emails from Xytex with the donor's name. After some research, they learned that the donor is schizophrenic, which is genetic and hereditary.

Man kills himself after being banned from eating for free at resort

(Scroll down for video) A man shot himself dead after a resort prohibited him from eating for free, police in Nevada said.

Before killing himself, the 53-year-old man blamed the M Resort Spa Casino, where he won free food for life.

John Noble said that the resort took away his right to free food because he harassed some of the women who worked there. Noble released a two-hour movie, in which he talks about his problems.

Noble gave women working at the resort unwanted gifts. The man was banned from the resort about a week after his mother died.

Three weeks later, a woman filed a police report, complaining that Noble was stalking her and had threatened suicide. Noble spent three days at a mental hospital before being released.

This week, he decided to end his life.

Woman slams hot pizza into woman’s face for complaining about cutting in line at restaurant

(Scroll down for video) A woman who complained about a man cutting in line at a restaurant, was burned by a boiling slice of pizza, police in Canada said.

Nova Scotia Police said that they arrested a 29-year-old woman on charges of assault for allegedly throwing the hot slice of pizza in the face of 22-year-old Paige Beaudry.

Beaudry suffered burns to the face, neck and chest.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded when Beaudry and her boyfriend were standing in line at a pizza shop in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Beaudry, was standing in line behind three women when a man walked into the restaurant and stood in front of her. She politely told him that she was waiting in line before him.

However, one of the three women spoke up and said that the man was with her. The suspect became angry and threatened the throw the slice of pizza at her face.

Beaudry ignored her. A few seconds later, the suspect threw the slice of boiling pizza at her face. Beaudry was treated for burns to her face, neck and chest.

Man cuts off man’s head with guitar string for religious purposes

A man cut off another man’s head with a guitar string for religious purposes, prosecutors in Kansas said.

Now, the 30-year-old man has been sentenced to four years in prison for beheading 49-year-old James Gerety and keeping his skull.

James Paul Harris pleaded no contest to manslaughter.

Osage County prosecutors said that Harris was originally charged with premeditated first-degree murder for killing Gerety, but the charges were changed because their case faced numerous challenges.

Investigators only found a portion of the victim’s skull. The rest of the victim’s body and the murder weapon was never found. Prosecutors said that they also had problems with the credibility of witnesses.

A former girlfriend of Harris testified that he told her he killed Gerety of Topeka, using a guitar string. He then disposed of the body and kept the head in a bag.

The victim’s skull was discovered by accident.

The girlfriend of the defendant's father was searching for mushrooms when she stumbled upon the victim’s skull. The defendant’s father immediately called the police.

Parents abandon 4-month-old baby at McDonald's after none of them wanted to take her home

(Scroll down for video) A 4-month-old baby was left alone at McDonald’s, after the parents couldn’t agree who should take her home, police in Ohio said.

The incident unfolded in the dining area of the McDonald’s located on Broad Street in Elyria on Friday night.

According to the police investigation, the baby was brought to the restaurant by 31-year-old Aaron Tate of Euclid. Tate was trying to hand over the baby to her mother, 22-year-old Rachel Jajaa, who is an employee at the restaurant.

The two argued about who would care for the baby over the weekend and they ended up abandoning the baby at the restaurant.

Diners in the restaurant who saw the baby alone, called the police. The baby was handed over to the Lorain County Children Services.

The parents have been charged with child endangerment, and they were booked into the Lorain County Jail.

New York doorman fired for being too nice to tenants

A doorman is out of a job because he was too nice to tenants.

Ralph Body was fired from his job as the doorman at a luxury New York apartment building for helping tenants more than his job required.

Body worked at a Queens tower called 27 on 27th since it opened two years ago. The luxury building is located a few blocks from the East River in Long Island City.

Body went beyond the call of duty. He did anything that residents asked him to do, including checking on pets, clean litter boxes, water plants and even showed apartments to new tenants if necessary.

Residence said that they felt very safe with Body, and some said that they chose to rent apartments in this building because of him.

However, his employers were not impressed. They fired the doorman and said: “We know you did it for the right reasons, but unfortunately, you’re too nice to the tenants.”

Tenants in the building blame the Heatherwood Communities management company for firing Body and not the PBS Facility Services staffing company who hired him.

PBS, who originally found Body the job, promised to find him work at a different building.

However, the management company sent an email to tenants saying: “It was recently brought to our attention that Ralph did not follow PBS's policies and procedures, and after being spoken to several times, it was their decision to reassign him to another building.”

The tenants of 27 on 27th are now rallying to get Body back.

The gay couple is due to become parents for the third time in just a few weeks.

Lucas Harris and Daryl Lee of Surrey, had their first child about 4 months ago. One month later, they had their second child, and they are now preparing for the third baby in 2 months

Lee, 41, who works as a dentist, and Harris, 51, who works as a computer programmer, met in 1999 and became civil partners in 2012.

The couple hired 3 surrogate mothers. Bex Harris gave birth to the couple’s first son named Phoenix Blue Harris-Lee.

Her best friend Viktoria Ellis, gave birth to the couple’s daughter named Willow-Star Shirley Harris-Lee.

Becky Harris, who is the sister-in-law of the first surrogate mother Bex Harris, is pregnant with the couple’s third baby, who is a boy.

The couple’s son Phoenix, was born using Bex’s eggs and Lee’s sperm. Their daughter, Willow, was born using Viktoria’s eggs and Harris’ sperm. The unborn baby was created by using sperm from Lee.

The boys will be half-brothers as they have the same father but different mothers. Their daughter is not biologically connected, but they will all be raised as a close knit family and with lots of love, the two fathers said.

Mother coaches husband on best way to rape her teen daughter so she gets pregnant

A woman was jailed for her role in helping her new husband rape her daughter.

33-year-old Misty Machinshok of Pennsylvania, married her husband and desperately wanted to have a baby with him.

However, for some reason, she was unable to have children.

She convinced her new husband, Gary Machinshok, to rape her 15-year-old daughter so that she can raise her husband’s child.

Misty Machinshok was sentenced to between 15 to 30 years in prison for coaching her husband on the best position to raping her daughter so she gets pregnant, and holding her daughter’s hand the “first few times,” according to court documents.

Her husband 29-year-old Gary Machinshok, whom she met through an online dating website, will be sentenced later this month after he pleaded no contest to raping the girl numerous times.

He also admitted to sexually assaulting the victim’s 11-year-old sister, but struck a plea deal with prosecutors in which he cannot be charged for those crimes.

The violations came to light when one of the girl’s told a friend about the abuse and that girl told a teacher.

Both victims are now in foster care.

(Scroll down for video) A bikini clad woman in Mexico, was arrested after she used a beach meant for tourists.

The video of her arrest went viral and has caused outrage with many residents.

26-year-old Laura Alicia Caldero was handcuffed and arrested at the beach after she was sunbathing at the spot reserved for tourists.

Cauldron said that she was sitting with three male friends under a palm tree on the Mamitas Beach in Playa del Carmen, when police forcibly removed her.

According to her friends, guards prevented residents from going to the sandy beach, located in the tourist area of ​​Quintana Roo.

Her friend, Marc Paez Chacon, 27, said that the group did not go to the beach, but were sitting under the shade of a palm tree.

However, the guards suddenly appeared and demanded money from the group for using the palm tree. Chacon said that at first, they thought it was a joke, but when they refused to pay, police showed up.

Police confirmed the arrest of the woman, who was with the three male friends.

The father of Albuquerque, New Mexico, had an argument with a customer at a gas station, and then pulled his gun and shot at the man.

Sergio Barrientos-Hinojosa then used his 13-year-old son as the getaway driver.

No one was injured, and Barrientos-Hinojosa was arrested Saturday night. Police said that Barrientos-Hinojosa was drunk when he asked his 13-year-old son to take him to buy beer at the gas station, where he had an argument and started shooting at another customer.

Police said that the father ordered his son to drive while he fired his gun in the air. He fired about 7 shots altogether.

Police were able to catch Barrientos-Hinojosa quickly as they had set up a checkpoint to spot drunk drivers. Barrientos-Hinojosa’s car sped past officers.

At first, the officer thought that he was shooting at them so they took cover. However, they soon followed the car and pulled it over.

Officers were surprised to find the 13-year-old boy driving the car with his father in the passenger seat.

Barrientos-Hinojosa is facing charges, including child abuse, as he fired the shots close to his son.

Police said that the 13-year-old boy will not face any charges.

Woman finds pearls in her mouth while eating oyster in restaurant

(Scroll down for video) A woman was eating at a restaurant when she felt something hard in her mouth.

53-year-old Toni Elliot stopped eating to pull the hard piece out of her mouth.

To her surprise, she found many pearls in her mouth.

The restaurant manager in Tennessee, said that the woman was eating seafood when she discovered 50 pearls in a single oyster.

Greg Hergest, general manager of Puckett's Boathouse in Franklin, said that Elliot was eating a plate of oysters on Thursday, when she bit into something hard.

He went to see if she was okay, and responded, “Oh, yes, I just found this pearl in my mouth,” Hergest said.

“She then started pulling more pearls out of her mouth, as the whole table laughed,” Hergest added.

Eric Horton, a server at the restaurant, said that the customer kept pulling pearls out of the oyster.

Horton said that from time to time, people find pearls in their oyster. However, this woman found a record number of pearls, and she had many of them in her mouth.

People took photos of the 50 pearls before it was placed in a cup for Elliot to take home.

“It's like winning the lottery. She was so excited to have them,” Hergest said.

Although finding 50 pearls in a single oyster is rare, it did not hit the world record, as someone had previously found 86 pearls in a single oyster.

Police officers buy family a car seat instead of giving them a ticket after mother held baby in her arm

(Scroll down for video) Police officers were called after a woman was seen holding her baby in her arms rather than in a car seat.

The 2 police officers in Michigan, are being praised after deciding to purchase a seat for the family in need instead of ticketing the child's parents.

Officers James Hodges and Jason Pavlige of Fruitport Township, responded to a call at a McDonald’s about a woman who was holding a baby in her arms in the passenger seat of a car.

The officers pulled over the baby’s father and found the mother holding her 10-month-old daughter in her arms. There was no baby seat in the car.

When officers spoke with the parents, who were not identified, they quickly realized that they do not have the money to buy a car seat for their child.

Under normal circumstances, police officers would have given the couple a ticket and/or called child protective services.

However, the officers decided to act otherwise. They pooled their own money together and decided to buy the family a brand name car seat.

Officer Pavlige stayed with the family, while officer Hodges went to Walmart and bought a new car seat.

The officer installed the car seat and gave the couple instructions on how to use it properly.

The officers were honored for their actions after an employee of Walmart called the police station to report the good deed that the officers had done.

Couple kidnaps man and forces him to pleasure himself at gunpoint

Police in Tennessee, are asking the public for help in locating a couple, who kidnapped a man and forced him to pleasure himself.

Police in Sevierville, are looking for the 2 suspects who allegedly kidnapped the man last month, stole his money and then forced him to pleasure himself at gunpoint.

The suspects were identified as 28-year old Amanda Lynn Wells of Sevier County and 53-year-old Lawrence H. Bond of Morristown.

They are each wanted for aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping.

The victim, an unidentified 26-year-old man, told police that Bond put a gun to his head and threatened to kill him. He then ordered the victim to pleasure himself while pointing the gun to his head. Bond faces an additional charge of aggravated sexual assault.

Authorities said that Bond and Wells should be considered armed and dangerous, and therefore, nobody should confront them.

Police said that you should call the police if you have any information on their whereabouts.

7 members of 1 family drown while trying to save girl who was bathing in water reservoir at a cemetery

(Scroll down for video) Seven members of one family are dead after they tried to rescue a drowning girl at a cemetery during a ceremony to honor a deceased loved one, police in China said.

Guangdong Police said that the seven family members died during a hiking vacation when the 17-year-old girl drowned in a water reservoir and the family made an unsuccessful attempt to rescue her.

According to the police investigation, none of the family members were good swimmers, but they tried to rescue the girl on Sunday.

The girl and six of her relatives died, including her parents and their two children, aged 13 and 15. The girl fell into the water reservoir while bathing after a ceremony to honor a deceased relative at a cemetery.

Rescuers recovered all the bodies by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

City officials said that they will place danger signs at the water reservoir and have safety lessons in schools to prevent similar tragedies from happening in the future.

Thieves stung by 30,000 bees while trying to steal honey

(Scroll down for video) A group of thieves were stung by thousands of bees while they were trying to steal honey, police in Florida said.

New Port Richey Police said that the three men are recovering at a hospital after being attacked by 30,000 bees on Sunday.

The Pasco County Fire Department responded to the scene of the attack when neighbors called police to report thousands of bees on the loose.

Witnesses at the scene said that the three men were covered with bees. Firefighters used a water hose to disperse the bees and assisted the thieves.

Each man received about 50 bee bites. According to the police investigation, the men were trying to steal honey from a massive beehive.

A woman was also stung dozens of times when she left her home during the bee attack. The beehive will relocated to a safer location.

Man thrown in jail after the grass on his lawn grew to more than 6 inches

(Scroll down for video) A man was sent to jail after he refused to mow his lawn, prosecutors in Texas said.

The man of Grand Prairie, fought with the city for the past 20 years about cutting the grass of his lawn.

Now, Rick Yoes was booked into the Tarrant County Jail, after he refused to pay $1,700 in fines for not cutting the grass of his front yard, which grew to more than 6 inches.

A neighbor of Yoes filed a complaint about the overgrown lawn and officers have visited the property 32 times. Yoes received 59 violations and 6 citations for not cutting his grass.

Police said that summonses are issued when grass exceeds 12 inches or when branches obstruct sidewalks or streets.

Yoes has received other summonses as well, including failure to repair a broken fence, keeping a broken vehicle, garbage in the yard and pool not maintained.

Yoes was sentenced to 17 days in jail instead of paying the fines.
