U.S. sailor jumps from hotel’s 10th floor into swimming pool

(Scroll down for video) A man of the United States, was badly injured after he jumped out of a 10th story window and landed in a pool.

Now, the U.S. Navy and the Australian police are investigating the incident.

The 22-year-old man who is a sailor, broke both legs after jumping from his hotel room in Perth, where he was staying with his girlfriend.

Police were called to the Parmelia Hilton at 1:00 a.m. on Monday, after the 22-year-old man jumped from the room and landed in the swimming pool.

A police spokesman said the sailor of the USS Carl Vinson, was possibly drunk when he jumped from the 10th floor and landed 8 stories below in the swimming pool.

Hotel staff said that the couple had been very loud before the incident. Staff members went to their room to ask them to be quiet.

A spokesperson for the Australian Ambulance Service said that the man suffered injuries to both of his legs and his stomach. He is said to be in critical but stable condition.

Man keeps mentally ill sister locked up in room covered in her own urine and feces

A man was arrested on charges of abuse after locking up his mentally ill sister in a room, prosecutors in Connecticut said.

Now, the man pleaded guilty to abuse and cruelty for leaving his sister in her own urine and feces.

59-year-old Arthur Gauvin of Seymour, faces up to 10 years in prison for abusing 57-year-old Nancy Gauvin.

Police officers found Nancy Gauvin, covered with urine and feces in a bedroom with such a strong smell that they could not breathe.

The police searched the house after receiving a complaint from a neighbor that the woman has been locked up in the house for years.

Arthur Gauvin told police that he kept his sister locked up in a room so that his dog shouldn’t eat her food. Nancy Gauvin required multiple showers after her arrival at a hospital.

Her hair was sticky, and her fingernails and toenails were about 4 inches long. Nancy Gauvin now lives in a rehabilitation center.

Teacher accused of sexually abusing boy kills himself just before judge calls mistrial

(Scroll down for video) A teacher who was accused of sexually assaulting a young boy, committed suicide outside a courthouse.

The music teacher of New Hampshire, who was accused of molesting the 11-year-old boy, committed suicide a few hours before the judge called a mistrial.

75-year-old John Goodwin shot himself outside the Rockingham County Superior Courthouse while waiting for the jury to return with their verdict.

While the jury was deliberating, Goodwin walked out to his car and shot himself in the chest. He was taken to a hospital, but died from the self-inflicted gunshot wound after arriving.

Goodwin was on trial after pleading not guilty to claims that he sexually assaulted the 11-year-old male student numerous times.

The allegedly victim, who is now 24, told prosecutors that he did not come forward earlier because he was embarrassed by the sexual abuse he suffered.

The jury was not told that Goodwin committed suicide before they told the judge that they could not reach a verdict.

The jury had been deliberating for about two hours before the judge declared the mistrial.

Female traffic cop resigns after giving ticket to cab driver moments after being involved in car accident

(Scroll down for video) A female traffic cop in the United Kingdom, came under fire after she was seen on video issuing a ticket after a car accident.

The video of the incident was posted to YouTube, and has forced the woman to resign from her job.

The video clip shows the Manchester traffic cop writing a ticket for cab driver Mohammed Arif, because he pulled to the side of the road after a traffic accident.

Mohammed, 37, who recorded the incident, insists that he never intended to harm the woman by causing her to lose her job over the incident.

He said that he took the video as evidence so that he can appeal the ticket.

In the video, the taxi driver can be heard telling the traffic cop that his car was not in working order because he was involved in an accident.

The woman responded by saying: “I'm not talking to you.”

Arif asked the officer: “Do you realize that I had an accident?”

However, rather than responding to his question, she said: “You are not authorized to take video of me.”

She then tried to grab the man’s phone twice before she claimed that the cab driver assaulted her.

The Manchester City Council promised to investigate the incident, saying that Arif should not have been fined while he was waiting for help to arrive after the accident.

A spokesperson for the City Council said: “We have clear guidelines and our traffic wardens are instructed not to issue parking tickets in circumstances where motorists were forced to park following traffic accidents.”

Hungry thief stuffs 4 salamis in his pants during supermarket raid

(Scroll down for video) A hungry thief was arrested on charges of theft after being caught stuffing salamis down his pants during a raid on a supermarket, police in Pennsylvania said.

Reading Police said that Andrew Ramos, was caught trying to leave the Price Rite supermarket located on North Sixth Street, without paying for the four salamis he had stuffed in his pants.

A police officer was called to the store around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, to investigate the reported theft.

A security worker at the store told the officer that he saw Ramos taking two wrapped salamis and placing them in the front of his pants.

Employees stopped Ramos as he left the store, and they found four salamis valued at $60 in his pants. Ramos was charged with one count of petty theft and was booked into the Berks County Jail.

His bail was set at $2,500.

A woman was arrested on charges of assault after smashing her husband’s car with her bare hands, police in China said.

The angry woman who claimed that her husband was having an affair, was recorded on video shattering the windshield and ripping the glass with her bare hands before police officers arrived.

The video that was recorded in Nanjing, showed the woman pulling broken car glass with her bloody fingers as the terrified husband shook in fear behind the wheel.

The furious woman called on her husband to get out of the car, but he stayed inside. Once she shattered the driver’s side window, he came out.

The woman then punched him in the face. The couple was taken away by police for questioning. The woman was charged with assault.

The video of the incident was uploaded to YouTube, where it has since gone viral.

Young boy thrown in jail for bringing magic marker to school

A young boy was arrested on charges of permanent marker possession after being caught at school with a black magic marker, police in Oklahoma said.

Oklahoma City Police said that the 13-year-old boy was arrested on Friday, for using the permanent marker while in class, which is a violation of an ordinance meant to combat graffiti.

According to the police investigation, the child was seen in possession of the permanent marker by Roosevelt Middle School teacher DeLynn Woodside.

The 50-year-old math teacher told police that the student was writing on a piece of paper and the ink was visible on the table. The boy tried to hide the marker when she asked him for it.

Police took the boy to the Community Intervention Center. It is illegal to possess spray paint or a permanent marker on private property without the owner's permission.

Wife files for divorce after her husband urinated in her bed

A wife filed for divorce because she was tired of her husband urinating in her bed, according to court documents in Zimbabwe.

Elizabeth Murefu told the Harare Family Court that she can no longer live with Edmore Simbi, and requested a restraining order against him.

She said that Simbi abuses her on a daily basis. The main problem is that he urinated in my bed, the woman told the court.

Murefu said that when she asked her husband to sleep on the floor due to his bedwetting habit, he becomes violent and abusive.

Simbi denied the allegations, and accused Murefu of disrespecting him. Simbi said that he still loves his wife and was ready change.

The judge granted the woman an order of protection and ordered the man to stay away from his wife.

Man rapes his sleeping girlfriend who refused to have sex with him because he was drunk

A man was arrested on charges of rape after raping his girlfriend while he was drunk, prosecutors in Australia said.

Now, the man admitted in court to raping his partner after she told him that she was not in the mood to have sex.

A County Court judge heard that the 34-year-old man had been in a relationship with the 27-year-old woman, and that the couple had three children together.

On the day of the incident, he called her at 3:00 a.m., and said that he was coming over to her house to have sex with her. The woman noticed that her boyfriend was drunk and told him not to come to her house.

The woman, who was living in her father’s house, went back to sleep before she heard a car outside. She heard her boyfriend coming through the door, which she always left open.

She was in her bedroom laying on her bed when she saw her boyfriend staggering in. He jumped into bed and tried to have sex with her.

The woman tried to escape, but he grabbed and raped her. The next morning, the woman went to the nearest police station to report the rape.

The judge sentenced the man to 300 hours of community service.

Group of friends fly 1,000 miles to Spain after getting drunk at bar

A group of friends found themselves far away from home after a night out at a bar.

Matt Weyman, Adam Holloway, Jack Gough, and Dan Griffiths, all of England, partied at a nightclub before they decided to go to Spain.

The men of Midlands, took a taxi to Birmingham Airport with nothing but the clothes they were wearing and the possessions they had on them at the bar.

Weyman said that the idea came to them when one of the group presented a passport for identification to enter the bar in Stourbridge.

“It seemed a good idea at the time. It started as a bit of a joke and then things kind of escalated,” he said.

The group booked tickets while at the club on their cellphones. In their drunken state of mind, the men bought tickets.

They took a taxi to get their passports. The group then traveled to the airport and flew to Spain.

The next morning, the group had a lot of explaining to do to their bosses and parents.

Woman gets fake birth certificate for twins to extort men after renting apartments from him

(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested after she came up with an elaborate scheme to scam men out of money by faking pregnancies.

Bethany Good of Minnesota, has a history of faking pregnancies to blackmail men.

According to a restraining order filed in Scott County, Good pretended to be pregnant after meeting the men in an attempt to extort money from them.

Good, 35, met men online and went to live with them. After sleeping with the men, she would claim to be pregnant and then harass them for money.

One of the men filed a restraining order against Good after she continued to harass him. She was later arrested for violating the restraining order.

She was ordered to report to jail for violating the restraining order. Good told the court she was pregnant with twins and she didn't show up to serve her sentence.

A warrant was issued for her arrest, but it was quashed after Good produced a birth certificate as proof that she gave birth to twins.

It was later discovered that she gave false information to the health department to get the birth certificate for the imaginary twins.

Good faces charges of aggravated forgery and false statement in a birth registration.

New adult toy can hold loved one's cremated ashes

A Dutch designer has created a new way for people to feel close the their deceased loved one.

Designer Mark Sturkenboom created an adult toy that includes a mini urn to contain the cremated remains of that special person.

The urn-shaped toy is part of his “21 Grams,” memory box to help people feel the presence of their loved one.

His controversial project “21 Grams” has a glass adult toy, which can hold exactly 21 grams of cremated ashes.

The memory box also includes other accessories designed to help the user revive an intimate evening with their loved one.

The box holds a ring, can play music that reminds one of their loved one and has a compartment for the loved one’s favorite perfume.

On his website, Sturkenboom wrote: “The 21 Grams is a memory-box that allows a widow to go back
to the intimate memories of a lost loved one.

“After a passing, the missing of intimacy with that person is only one aspect of the pain and grieve. This forms the base for 21 Grams. The urn offers the possibility to conserve 21 grams of ashes of the deceased and displays an immortal desire.

“By bringing different nostalgic moments together like the scent of the perfume, “their” music and reviving the moment of ring giving, it opens a window to go back to moments of love and intimacy.

Thieves attempt to make money by selling stolen pizza to police officers at police station

Two men stole a lot of pizza and attempted to sell them to police officers during their shift.

The pizza thieves may have had plans to make a lot of money by trying to sell some of the stolen pizza to police officers.

Police received a call from a warehouse in Gambell, Alaska, around 10:00 a.m., to report the theft of 80 frozen pizza pies.

The stolen pies had an estimated value of $1,100, Alaska State Troopers said.

The investigators did not have to work very hard to find the culprits as the two suspects called them.

29-year-old John Koozaata and 21-year-old Lewis Oozeva allegedly called the Gambell Police Department, offering to sell pizzas to the police.

The officers agreed to meet the men, who were immediately arrested.

Koozaata and Oozeva allegedly admitted to eating 5 of the stolen pies and they tried selling the other 75. Police confiscated the 75 pies.

Koozaata and Oozeva were charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree theft. They were booked into the Anvil Mountain Correctional Center.

Baseball coach forces students to spit in his face

(Scroll down for video) A baseball coach is under fire for the bizarre punishment he handed down to students.

Justin Hill is the baseball coach at a high school in Currituck County, North Carolina.

He has been suspended after forcing his players to spit in his face.

Hill, who attended the Currituck County High School, was suspended for one game after students told their parents of their unusual punishment for missing practice.

Hill was angry when 9 players skipped practice.

During the following practice, Hill told all of those 9 players that they have been disrespectful to other teammates by not showing up to practice.

Hill then ordered the students to spit in his face. The school is investigating the incident, but refused to comment on the unsanitary and unusual behavior of the coach.

Nurse dies after falling from medical helicopter hoist while rescuing woman

(Scroll down for video) A nurse tragically died while she was trying to save the life of another woman, police in Texas said.

Now, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the incident in which the nurse died after falling from a hoist of a medical helicopter.

She was trying to rescue a woman who suffered a cardiac arrest, from a hiking trail in Austin.

STAR Flight, the company that was attempting the rescue, said that 46-year-old Kristin McLain fell off the hoist on Monday night, while trying to retrieve a woman who had fallen into the Barton Creek Greenbelt.

McLain died at the scene. The rescued woman was taken to University Medical Center-Brackenridge with non life threatening injuries.

The STAR Flight program director said that McLain has been with the company for seven years. STAR Flight provides air emergency medical services.

Mentally deranged mother beheads her 3-month-old daughter

(Scroll down for video) A mentally deranged mother who gave birth to a girl, was arrested on charges of murder after allegedly beheading her, police in Ohio said.

Now, the 20-year-old woman who was accused of beheading her 3-month-old daughter, was found incompetent to stand trial and was transferred to a treatment facility.

The Hamilton County judge ruled that 20-year-old Deasia Watkins, is incompetent to stand trial on a charge of aggravated murder.

She was ordered to be evaluated and treated in a behavioral facility. Watkins will be brought back to court in 6 months to reevaluate the decision.

According to the police investigation, officers who arrived at the home of Watkins’ aunt, found the girl beheaded on the kitchen counter.

The aunt was taking care of the child. Watkins was at the home and appeared to be suffering from mental problems. Police found her in bed and she was covered in blood.
