An employee of Bumble Bee Foods was burned to death after workers fired up an oven while he was inside loading tuna cans, police in California said.

62-year-old Jose Melena was in the industrial oven at the plant in Santa Fe Springs, in order to load cans of tuna.

The oven is used to sterilize products, and Melena worked to get those cans properly placed in the oven. That day his co-workers began loading the cans on their own, not knowing that he was inside.

They loaded 12,000 cans, closed the door and fired up the oven. The oven hit 270 degrees and he stayed there for nearly two hours.

After the process was complete, the burned remains of Melena were discovered by a co-worker.

The District Attorney of Los Angeles County announced that Bumble Bee Foods and two supervisors were charged with suspicion of intentionally violating safety rules for workers.

The defendants are former security manager Saul Florez and company director of Angel Rodriguez. Florez and Rodriguez could get three years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.

Bumble Bee could be fined up to $1.5 million. Bumble Bee said that it disagreed with the decision of the District Attorney, saying that the incident was an accident.

Many female employees at a massage parlor were arrested and charged with sexual assault.

About 12 women were detained on the weekend during a prostitution sting at massage parlors in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Surprisingly, rather than facing charges of prostitution, the women are facing a more serious charge of sexual assault.

If convicted, the women would have to register as sex offenders and they could spend up to a year in prison, while a prostitution charge carries only a 30 day prison sentence.

The new tactic from the Honolulu Police Department is extremely unusual for a law enforcement agency, said legal experts and advocates for prostitutes.

Kathryn Xian, executive director of Pacific Alliance to Stop Slavery said: “As advocates, we are really appalled by what law enforcement has been doing in using this unprecedented approach. Why didn't they arrest the johns.”

Honolulu police spokeswoman Michelle Yu said that the police operation was prompted by complaints from the public.

“HPD worked with the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations to conduct an undercover operation in response to numerous complaints of prostitution activity and unlicensed cosmetology and massage businesses,” Yu said.

In the video, the real estate millionaire is seen walking up to the register and relieving himself.

His attorney attempted to keep the video out of the public eye, saying that his client's behavior was due to a medical issue.

Durst had been released from the hospital shortly before the incident after having a medical procedure done.

“This was a medical mishap, plain and simple. He had to go and he couldn't hold it,” said Durst's lawyer.

Durst, who comes from a family of wealthy real estate developers in Manhattan, ruined about $100 worth of candy.

He pleaded no contest to the charges of criminal mischief and was ordered to pay restitution to the CVS pharmacy.

(Scroll down for video) An airplane pilot was arrested after he stole an airplane and then admitted that he sexually abused a child.

27-year-old Evan Grant stole a small plane from a Las Vegas Airport on Saturday morning, and flew around Sin City for about an hour.

While he was in the air, he spoke to an air traffic controller named Tony. During the conversation, Grant spoke about the crimes he committed.

“I am a pedophile, Tony,” Grant said. “I've been since I was 13 years old,” he added.

Nobody knew about the perverted ways of Grant until now, when he confessed.

The perverted pilot said that he did something to his best friend’s son. He then also confessed that he “did something yesterday that he could never take back,” but did not elaborate on what that was.

He also apologized for stealing the airplane in the first place.

Grant finally landed the plane without incident and was arrested. He was charged with grand theft auto and lewdness with a minor, police said.

Grant is now being investigated on charges of fondling two children in the last three weeks. Police believe that Grant planned to commit suicide by crashing the plane.

Grant had easy access to the airport as he often leased airplanes and was a well known pilot.
