Police in Florida, were called after 2 young children were caught kissing in school.
Police responded to a call made from an elementary school, where someone reported the 2 children were kissing.
On Tuesday, a member of the staff of an elementary school in Manatee County, called police to report an unnatural and lascivious act.
When police arrived on the scene, they learned that two children, age 7, had kissed on the lips during class.
An official investigated the incident, but found no irregularities. The official spoke to a teacher who saw the kisses, but did not believe that law was violated by locking lips in school.
For the police to make an arrest or investigate further, it would have had to be evidence that the kiss was "lewd and lascivious,” as initially reported.
