2 people dead after man sets his head on fire while riding train

Two people died and many were injured after a man set himself on fire, police in Japan said.

The man was traveling on the high speed bullet train when he set himself on fire.

The man killed himself and other passengers. The second man died from smoke inhalation after the train car filled with smoke, police said.

At least 26 others were injured, three seriously, mostly from smoke inhalation, according to the Odawara Fire Department.

The passenger poured an oily substance over his head before setting himself on fire, police said. He used a lighter to burn himself alive.

The motive is not clear. Police said the fire was in the front of the first train car, which was heading from Tokyo to Osaka.

2-year-old girl’s hair shaved by classmate after teacher left kids unattended

A teacher in the United Kingdom, was suspended after allowing kindergarten students to play with an electric clipper.

School surveillance video showed a 3-year-old child shaving the hair of a 2-year-old classmate.

The teacher brought the clipper to school in order to teach the preschoolers about hairdressing.

Julie Muir, 34, the mother of the 2-year-old child, said that she was horrified when she saw Helena’s shaved head as she picked her up from the Destiny Kids Nursery in Battersea, London.

School surveillance video showed the girl running the clipper twice over Helena’s head, but staff members said that they did not notice because she did not cry.

Muir said that she was shocked that “such young children were allowed to play with something so dangerous.”

The head of the nursery school said that the teacher did not realize that the machine had batteries in it.

A Wandsworth Council child protection officer was notified and the incident is being investigated.

The Destiny Kids Nursery apologized to the girl’s family and suspended the teacher.

Woman shoots man’s truck for taking a mango that fell from her tree

(Scroll down for video) A woman in Florida, was arrested for shooting at a man’s truck.

64-year-old Josefina Tometich became angry when she spotted the man taking a mango, which fell from her tree.

Christopher Richey said that he was on his way back from an anniversary celebration with his wife when he saw the mango laying on the pavement on front of the home in Fort Myers.

He stopped to pick up the mango from the ground. When the homeowner spotted him taking the mango, she decided to shoot him.

Tometich allegedly went home, returned with a BB gun and followed Richey. When he stopped at a stop sign, she used the BB gun to shoot out the back window of Richey’s truck, police said.

The woman said that Richey walked onto her property and stole the mango from her front lawn. Tometich’s family said that they have “no trespassing” signs on their property, and they will now add security cameras to catch “mango thieves.”

Tometich was arrested for firing the BB gun, which destroyed the back window of the truck.

Mob of 40 people raid store to see how much inventory they can destroy

An alleged teenage gang leader is accused of leading a mob inside a store to destroy property.

17-year-old Kharron Nathan Green was arrested after he and 40 other people raided a Walmart store located in Macon, Georgia.

One teenager allegedly admitted that they entered the store to destroy as much merchandise as possible in a short amount of time.

The group of people managed to escape from the crime scene before police arrived. However, Green was arrested when he returned to retrieve his cellphone, which he accidentally left in the store.

According to investigators, the mob of about 40 to 50 people entered the Walmart around 1:45 a.m., and destroyed about $2,000 worth of merchandise.

Green is accused of being the ringleader. He was seen on surveillance video showing gang signs. Other teenagers were seen throwing a customer out of his motorized wheelchair.

Green was charged with inciting a riot and damage to property. He has been released on bail.

Police are reviewing surveillance videos to identify the other perpetrators, who caused about $2,000 in damages.

35-year-old council member marries 6-year-old girl

A politician was arrested after he paid a family to marry their young daughter.

The 35-year-old council member of India, married the 6-year-old girl in front of a small group of people.

Ratan Lal Jat is an elected official in the Gangrar, Rajasthan.

Jat used marriage broker Jamuni Bai, to arrange his marriage to the young girl. Bai is known for organizing child-bride marriages for a fee.

According to police, Jat claimed that the ceremony was a technicality as he had to meet the requirements of his religious group.

Jat belongs to Nata Pratha, which has a unique ancient custom, allowing married men to have an affair with married women.

However, the men must give the women’s husbands financial compensation. Jat, who is single, said that he married the 6-year-old girl in order to be able to sleep with his lover.

The girl’s family received an undisclosed amount of cash to marry the girl who is 29 years his junior. The girl will continue to live with her family.

Police arrested Jat after seeing photos of the wedding. He was charged under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.

Girl dies of heart attack after being too scared to use the bathroom

A girl died of constipation after she was too scared to use the bathroom for 2 months.

The autistic girl of England, died of a heart attack, which was caused by constipation, a court heard.

16-year-old Emily Titterington of St. Austell, Cornwall, had a phobia of using the toilets before she died of the heart attack caused by constipation after spending eight weeks without a bowel movement.

Titterington often withheld her stool for up to two months and her intestine grew so large that it compressed her chest cavity and displaced other organs.

Investigators said that Titterington’s life could have been saved with the proper treatment, but she had refused to be medically examined.

Home Office pathologist Dr. Amanda Jeffery said that Titterington’s condition is known as “stool withholding” and it is not uncommon with children.

Pizza Hut employee caught playing with his private parts while serving food to girls

An employee of Pizza Hut in Kentucky, was fired after allegedly playing with his private parts while serving food to female customers.

The incident unfolded as a girl was at the Pizza Hut drive-thru in Lexington.

As she was waiting for her order, she realized that the employee had his hands in his pants and playing with himself. She quickly took a picture of the employee and uploaded to photo on the Internet, where it went viral.

Sandy Brentlinger, the mother of the girl, said that her daughter and her friend were in line waiting for pizza when they saw the man playing with himself.

Brentlinger also said that the girls called the manager of the store to let him know what happened. After the incident the girls took the pizza, but the didn’t eat it.

On Monday, Pizza Hut said that the employee had been fired. Brentlinger contacted the Department of Health so that the employee doesn’t receive a job at another restaurant.

42-year-old man stabs his mother with a knife because she told him to get a job

An unemployed man became extremely angry when his mother told him to get a job, police in Japan said.

Tokyo police said that they have arrested 42-year-old Takahiro Miki, after being accused of stabbing his 74-year-old mother with a kitchen knife.

The unemployed man has been charged with one count of attempted murder. According to the police investigation, Miki attacked his mother as she prepared to go to work on Friday morning.

Miki took a kitchen knife and slashed the throat of his mother. Police said the woman was in stable condition at a hospital.

During questioning, Miki told investigators that two days before the incident, his mother told him that she does not know how long she will have the energy to work.

She urged him to find a job before she retires.

Man cuts skirts of 15 girls on crowded train

Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of damaging property after allegedly cutting the skirts of numerous girls while traveling on crowded trains, police in Japan said.

Tokyo police said that they are looking for the suspect who cut the skirt of a 17-year-old girl on a train traveling between Ikebukuro and Asakadai on Friday.

According to the police investigation, the latest incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. A concerned passenger notified the girl that her skirt was cut.

At the next stop, the girl reported the incident to a train employee who notified the police. Police said the girl's skirt had been cut about 4 inches from the bottom.

The girl said that she did not feel anything when her skirt was cut.

Police said that there have been at least 15 similar cases in which girls’ skirts were cut from the bottom while traveling on crowded trains.

Firefighter calls in fake fire so he could respond to the scene and earn $500

(Scroll down for video) A firefighter was arrested on a charge of inducing panic after allegedly reporting a non-existing fire so he could be sent to the scene and earn money, police in Ohio said.

Lorain police said that they have arrested 27-year-old Dean Evans, after being accused of reporting the false fire so he could go to the scene and earn a salary.

However, his plan didn’t work out as a different fire department was sent to the scene.

Evans was charged with inducing panic and making false alarms after police traced the call and found the number on Evans’ job application.

Evans would have earned $500 if he responded to the scene. Evans pleaded not guilty to the charges on Wednesday. Evans told investigators that he had fallen on hard times and needed the extra income.

Young man urinates on public bus after driver refuses to stop at bathroom

A man was arrested on a charge of urinating in a public place after allegedly urinating on a public bus because the driver refused to stop at a restroom, police in Australia said.

Hornsby police said that they have arrested the 21-year-old unidentified man on the public bus around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The suspect, who was one of seven passengers on the bus, asked the driver to stop so he could go to the bathroom.

The driver advised him that he could not stop at that moment, and he told the man that he would have to wait until the next bus stop.

The suspect then allegedly went to the back of the bus and urinated on the floor. The stream of urine traveled all over the bus.

The driver stopped the bus outside the Hornsby police station, and went inside to ask for help. Police officers came on the bus and removed the man.

He was arrested and charged with one count of urinating in a public place.

Man caught breaking toilet bowls and doors at entertainment center

A young man was arrested on a charge of willful damage to property after being caught breaking toilet bowls and doors of a men’s bathroom at an entertainment center, prosecutors in Australia said.

24-year-old Benjamin Lucas Ross of Gladstone, was caught breaking three toilet doors at the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre.

Cracks were also seen on two ceramic toilet bowls. Ross was brought before the Gladstone Magistrates Court, where he pleaded guilty to causing willful damage.

The incident unfolded on Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. People at the entertainment center told investigators that they heard banging noises coming from the men’s restroom.

When they went to investigate, they saw Ross swinging a bathroom door until it broke off.

Ross and then fled from the scene, but surveillance video showed him entering the restroom alone at the time that the damage occurred.

The toilet doors were ripped off their hinges. A judge sentenced Ross to a fine of $300.

12-year-old girl finds loaded gun inside rented car during family trip

A young girl who was enjoying a trip with her parents, was shocked to find a loaded gun between the seats of a rented car, police in Canada said.

The incident unfolded as 12-year-old Sandra Shenouda of Michigan, spilled some fries in the back seat of the rented Nissan Versa.

When she tried to pull out the fries that fell between the seats, she found the loaded gun. The family rented the car in Michigan, and drove to Ottawa to visit relatives.

The car was parked in the Barrhaven Walmart on Saturday afternoon when the girl made the shocking discovery. The girl’s father, Samy Shenouda, first thought that her daughter was joking.

However, when the girl started screaming, he quickly put the gun back between the seats and drove the car to his sister-in-law’s house, where he called the police.

The car was rented from Enterprise. As compensation, the family was offered two free additional days.

Man tries to steal money from woman’s private parts

A man was arrested for violating Criminal Attempts Act after allegedly trying to steal money from a woman's private parts, police in the United Kingdom said.

38-year-old Paul Clint Wells of Torquay, was brought before the Torquay Magistrate’s Court on Monday, where he was charged with the offense.

Prosecutors told the court that Wells of Sandford Road, tried to steal an undisclosed amount of money from the woman’s private parts.

In April, a woman in Nevada, swiped a client’s $35,000 Rolex watch and hid it in her private parts, police said.

25-year-old Christina Lafave of Las Vegas, has been accused of taking the watch owned by Kenneth Herold while giving him a massage in his hotel room in the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel.

Medical professionals removed the watch, and Lafave was charged with grand larceny and possession of stolen property. She was released on $40,000 bail. She faces up to 20 years in jail, if convicted.

Police officers freak out after mistaking cable for snake inside a computer

Police officers in the United Kingdom, freaked out after mistaking a cable for a snake, a snake expert said.

The snake expert in Llanelli, Wales, said that he was called to an apartment by police in the middle of the night last week, to investigate a snake that his in the homeowner's computer.

Geraint Hopkins was called around 2:30 a.m. by South Wales police, after they responded to the scene and saw what appeared to be a snake in the man’s computer.

The man told police that he bought the computer in Cardiff, and when he inspected it, he found the snake inside. Hopkins said that upon further examination, he realized that the snake is just a black and red computer cable.

Police officers first thought that the snake expert was joking, but when they poked it, they realized that the snake was indeed a cable.

Hopkins said that he often receives calls from frantic people reporting snakes in their computers, but this was the first time that he received a call from the police.

Man covers his girlfriend with hot sauce before attempting to bake her in oven

A man was arrested on charges of kidnapping and assault after allegedly beating his girlfriend and trying to push her into an oven, police in Utah said.

Sandy police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Joseph Anthony Castellanos, after being accused of punching and kicking his girlfriend while holding her against her will for hours.

Castellanos was arrested around 2:00 a.m. on Friday.

He was charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated cruelty to animals and intentional damage to property.

According to the police investigation, the assault began around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. Castellanos came home and was upset that his girlfriend did not visit him at work.

Castellanos punched the woman several times in the face and threatened to kill her. He proceeded to urinate on her before covering her with hot sauce and trying to push her into an oven.

Castellanos is also accused of stomping and kicking the woman’s dog. Castellanos caused an estimated $2,250 in damage to a laptop and at least two cellphones.

The woman managed to call police using a cellphone that she hid in the bathroom. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident.

Man plots to break into animal shelter to have sex with animals

A man was arrested on charge of conspiracy after allegedly plotting to break into an animal shelter in order to have sex with animals, police in Arkansas said.

The Pope County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 32-year-old Jonathan Ford of Hattieville on Friday, after learning that he planned to break into the Russellville Animal Shelter.

Ford was charged with criminal conspiracy to commit commercial burglary and was booked into the Pope County Detention Center.

His bail was set at $50,000.

Earlier this month, Ford was arrested on charges of animal cruelty after allegedly having sex with his dogs in his animal shelter.

Ford runs the "I Love Lucy Pet Rescue," which is located on Old Hickory Road. On the I Love Lucy website, Ford wrote that he collects stray dogs to find them good homes.

The Sheriff's Office is working to find homes for all the I Love Lucy dogs.
