A woman put her neighbor through months of suffering with her blasting music.
The woman was arrested after she set up an elaborate sound system, which she was able to access and turn it on while she was out of her home.
Marianna Seachrist of Florida, was arrested for aggravated harassment after she harassed her neighbor with loud music for months.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Seachrist played the loud music for many hours a day. She wore headphones to drown out the noise, but her downstairs neighbor suffered.
The victim tried to settle the matter civilly be reaching out to the homeowners association before getting the police involved.
Deputies executed a search warrant and found speakers mounted face-down on the floor of Seachrist's home with weights and cinder blocks holding them down.
“Ultimately, this was an aggravated stalking issue,” said Capt. Angelo Nieves, spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
