(Scroll down for video) A man in Dallas, Texas, revealed that his crazy idea morphed into a real business, earning him around $10,000 per month.

Alex Craig first spoke to his girlfriend about his idea over dinner one night earlier this year, and her immediate reaction was that it is stupid.

Craig did not back down, and a few months later, PotatoParcel was launched. PotatoParcel charges customers between $8 and $10 for a potato, depending on its size.

The company adds a personalized message on it with a pen and mails it anonymously to the recipient. Craig revealed that it takes him about 30 seconds to write the message on the potato.

Recently, the company has announced plans to expand into international markets, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.

Man kills his older brother because he refused to wash dishes

A man was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly stabbing his older brother because he refused to wash dishes, police in Nigeria said.

Ogun State police said that they have arrested Ekene Agbamone, following the death of his brother, 25-year-old Chikwado Agbamone, who was stabbed to death after an altercation over who had to wash the dirty dishes.

Chikwado and Ekene began fighting after they returned home from church around 7:00 p.m. Chikwado became furious when Ekene refused to wash the dirty dishes.

At some point during the argument, Ekene pulled a knife and stabbed Chikwado in the chest. Chikwado was discovered by his mother Cynthia.

Chikwado was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed dead. Ekene was arrested at the scene, and he was charged with one count of murder.

Police arrest parrot for hurling curses at 86-year-old woman

(Scroll down for video) A pet parrot was arrested and seized by police after being accused of hurling curses at an elderly woman, police in India said.

85-year-old Janabai Sakharkar of Maharashtra, filed a complaint with the police, saying that her stepson identified as Suresh, taught the parrot to curse her every time she passed his house.

The police, summoned everyone involved to the police station, including the pet parrot identified as Hariyal. At the police station, Hariyal seemed calm and did not utter a word despite the presence of Sakharkar.

According to the police investigation, the elderly woman is involved in a dispute over property with her stepson. Police decided to detain the parrot despite the opposition of Suresh.

The parrot was handed over to the Forest Department for rehabilitation.

Parents lock baby in hotel room safe before disappearing

Police are looking for a couple of Brooklyn, New York, who locked their baby inside a hotel safe before disappearing, police in Canada said.

The Niagara Regional Police Service said that the family was staying at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Niagara Falls.

On Tuesday around 10:00 a.m., the family notified the hotel staff that the baby had been locked in the safe. A maintenance worker was sent to the room in order to free the baby.

The baby was alert and crying, police said. The parents, who were on the scene when the maintenance worker freed the baby, left the hotel before the police arrived.

The child abuse unit of the Niagara Regional Police, said that it is still unclear how the baby ended up in the safe. Police believe that the baby is less than one year old and small enough to fit in the safe.

The U.S. Border Control has also been notified about the incident. The family has not arrived back in the U.S. The New York Police Department has also been notified.

The family is believed to be traveling in a 15-passenger van.

Mother barricades 2-year-old boys in her home using plywood while she is out partying

(Scroll down for video) A woman in Florida, left her two young children home alone so she can go out and party with her friends.

The woman barricaded her 2-year-old twins inside the home on Sunday night with plywood, so she could go to the party at the margarita festival.

29-year-old Kiria Ferris still wore her wrist band from the festival when she was arrested and charged with child neglect.

A neighbor called police after seeing the two children playing unattended near a lake next to their house in Orlando.

Ferris’s front door was open. Police said that there was a giant piece of plywood and some bicycles blocking the main entrance.

Detectives found dirty diapers, items of choking hazard and toxic cleaning chemicals within the reach of the children.

Ferris originally told police that she was on her way home from work when they contacted her.

However, when she got home around 10:00 p.m. in a light blue evening gown and a red wristband, she admitted that she had been partying at the margarita festival.

Ferris said that she tried to get the father of the children to babysit them, but he was not available. So she blocked the door with plywood so her children could not leave. Ferris was booked on two counts of child neglect.

Man throws airplane made of pornographic paper at children

(Scroll down for video) Police in Pennsylvania, are looking for a man who threw an innocent looking paper airplane at children.

Pittsburgh police are warning the public about a man who is accused of throwing a paper airplane at two children.

Although the airplane looked like a toy, it was made out of paper with adult content.

Police said that a white male between the ages of 18 and 25, was in a white van when he allegedly threw a paper airplane taken from an adult magazine.

The children were playing in their yard on Saturday, when the incident occurred.

Police want parents to be aware of their surroundings and keep a close eye on their children because their “may be a man who is doing something suspicious around children,” the police spokesperson said.

The paper airplane landed in front of the yard. The children picked up the airplane and showed it to their parents, who called police.

The ages of the children has not been released.

Man rapes and kills girlfriend’s 17-month-old baby after convincing the mother to trust him to babysit

(Scroll down for video) A woman is devastated after her boyfriend raped and killed her daughter after convincing her that he will be a good babysitter.

27-year-old Daniel Contreras of California, was charged with murder, serious child abuse resulting in the death of a child and multiple counts of performing lewd acts on a child, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.

Contreras is being held without bail.

17-month-old Evelyn Castillo was found unconscious and unresponsive in her home around 2:30 p.m. Police and paramedics were called to the scene.

She was taken to the Kaiser Permanente's Redwood City Medical Center, where she died shortly afterwards, police said.

Contreras, who was dating Evelyn's mother, was babysitting the child at the time of the death. He convinced the mother that he is the father figure in the child’s life and therefore, he should be trusted to be home alone with her, according to prosecutors.

He initially told police that the child accidentally fell out of his hands and hit the floor. However, he was arrested after an autopsy ruled her death a homicide.

Contreras faces the death penalty if found guilty of murder.

2-year-old boy kills his father by shooting him in the head

(Scroll down for video) A young father was found dead in his home with a gunshot wound to his head after being shot by his own son, police in Alabama said.

Birmingham police said that a wife came home to find her 31-year-old husband dead on the floor.

Police believe that the man’s 2-year-old son may have accidentally shot him in the head on Tuesday.

There is no evidence of an intruder and the gunshot wound was not self inflicted, leading police to believe that the boy shot his father.

The man and the boy were the only two people who were present in the home when the incident occurred. The gun was owned by the victim.

Babysitter shoots at 7-year-old children because she was drinking alcohol

(Scroll down for video) A babysitter was arrested on a charge of endangerment after allegedly shooting at children and blaming it on the alcohol she drank, police in Kentucky said.

Whitley County police said that they have arrested Lorie Cornett, after being accused of shooting at two 7-year-old relatives as she was babysitting them.

According to the police investigation, the two children ran out of the home and sought shelter at a neighbor's house. The neighbors dialed 911 and told police dispatchers that the two children accused Cornett of trying to kill them.

Police officers who responded to the scene, were met by Cornett, who was holding a loaded gun. She told the officers that she had been on medication and had been drinking.

The police officers took the gun. The children were not injured.

Investigators believe that Cornett fired three shots in the house. Cornett was charged with three counts of endangerment, and was booked into the Whitley County Detention Center.

Man kicked off public bus of pleasuring himself in front of passengers

A man was arrested on a charge of public indecency after allegedly pleasuring himself on a public bus in front of passengers, police in New York said.

New York State police said that they have arrested 24-year-old Mario A. Harrison of Maryland, after the bus driver stopped at the Chittenango service area to request assistance.

The Megabus bus driver told police that numerous passengers complained about Harrison. They reported that Harrison pleasured himself in front of them early on Wednesday morning.

During questioning, Harrison admitted to police that he pleasured himself in front of passengers. Harrison was arrested and charged with public lewdness.

He was booked into jail in Syracuse.

Woman shoplifts frozen clams and stuffs them down her pants because she is homeless

A woman was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after allegedly shoplifting a box of frozen clams and stuffing them down her pants, police in Florida said.

Palm Bay police said that they arrested 52-year-old Debra Marceau, after being accused shoplifting items from a Publix supermarket and stuffing the down her pants.

According to the police investigation, Marceau went to the freezer section of the Publix located on Malabar Road, opened a box of frozen clams and placed them in the front of her pants.

Marceau also tried to put $45 worth of items in her purse, including a frozen pizza pie. Marceau told police that she took the food without paying for it because she is homeless and disabled.

In April, a woman was caught on video wrestling with a security guard who attempted to detain her for shoplifting.

The bizarre incident between the topless woman and the security guard occurred inside the Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

After several minutes of fighting, an Oklahoma City police officer arrived at the scene. According to the police report, the woman, Heather Lynn Hall, had entered the clothing store Buckle, and tried to steal merchandise by hiding it in a Dillard’s shopping bag.

24-year-old man plummets to his death while trying to stop his friend from jumping off building

(Scroll down for video) A young man tragically died after falling off a building while trying to stop his suicidal friend from jumping, police in Hawaii said.

Honolulu police said that the 24-year-old man fell to his death while trying to pull the 19-year-old man from jumping of the ledge on the 14th floor.

The incident unfolded at the University of Hawaii. Police said that both men fell to the ground.

24-year-old Thomas Bennet was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 19-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The two men were not students at the University of Hawaii, but were in the apartment to attend a party. There were about 20 students present as the incident unfolded.

University officials offered counseling to those students who were affected by the tragedy.

Drunk driver tells police stripper was supposed to drive him home

A man who was arrested on a charge of drunk driving, told police that a stripper was supposed to drive him home, but she never showed up, police in Canada said.

Now, 25-year-old Brock Johnson of Burlington, has been banned from driving for a year after pleading guilty to impaired driving.

According to the police investigation, Johnson was told to leave the Solid Gold Strip Club after becoming intoxicated. He told security guards that one of the dancers was going to drive him home.

The dancer never showed up. According to the managers of the club, the dancer never agreed to take him home. While waiting, Johnson told the security guards that he was going to get his laptop from his car in the parking lot.

That is when he got into his car and drove off. The security guards immediately called the police, and they began chasing after Johnson.

The police said that Johnson, who was driving erratically, stopped his in front of an apartment complex and began to flee on foot.

Police released a dog that caught Johnson, and he was arrested. Tests showed that Johnson’s blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.

Dog saves blind owner’s life by using phone to call police

(Scroll down for video) An elderly woman is lucky to be alive after her dog pulled her to safety and called the police when a fire broke out in her home, police in Pennsylvania said.

Philadelphia police said that the heroic service dog saved the 60-year-old blind woman after the home they shared caught fire on Thursday morning.

The dog named Yolanda dialed 911 with a specialized phone and alerted police about the fire, and firefighters quickly responded to the scene.

They were able to rescue Yolanda’s owner, Maria Colon, and she was taken to a hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Yolanda was rewarded with food, toys, treats and supplies.

This was not the first time that the dog called the police. Last year, the dog’s owner fell in the house and was unconscious when it called the police.

Man stuffs hot French fries into woman’s mouth because she forgot to cover them with gravy

A man was arrested on a charge of assault after stuffing hot French fries into a woman’s mouth because she forgot to put gravy on them, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 22-year-old Terry Joe Tyers of Chilton, has been sentenced to serve 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to assault.

According to the police investigation, Tyers entered the Sunny’s Fish Bar very intoxicated and ordered French fries around 10:00 p.m.

When he was served, Tyers told the woman behind the counter to put gravy on them. When the woman refused, a co-worker told Tyres to leave the counter.

Tyers’ friend began throwing French fries before they were told to leave the restaurant. When Tyers refused to leave, the female employee tried to push him out.

That is when he took some hot French fries and stuffed them into the woman’s mouth. In court, Tyers pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm and assault by beating.

In addition to the prison sentence, the judge issued an order of protection, keeping Tyers away from the victim.

Police have released a disturbing video, showing a woman chained to a bed while being forced to work for a man in Pakistan.

The woman who was allegedly sold into slavery by her husband, has been rescued by the police after they found her chained to a bed and forced to work for a “contractor.”

The woman of Chiniot, Punjab, India, was sold for just $480 and was forced to work for the unknown buyer for a month before being rescued.

The woman was also severely beaten by her master and had suffered serious injuries to both legs.

The police video shows the woman with chains around her neck and ankles. The chains were attached to a bed, where she was made to work for her buyer.

The woman's husband, who is poor, sold his wife to make extra money.

Police went to the scene and used tools to remove the chains from the floor in order to free the woman before they escorted her to a police station to completely remove the chains from her body.

Police are still looking for the man who bought and enslaved the woman.

12-year-old girl uses Facebook to distract herself while being raped by 55-year-old man

A man pleaded guilty to raping a young girl.

55-year-old Charles Salter of the United Kingdom, groomed the girl and began sexually abusing her when she was only 12 years old, a court heard.

Prosecutor Patrick Palmer said that the girl logged into Facebook while being raped in an attempt to distract herself from her terrible ordeal.

Salter of Hull, admitted to 2 counts of raping a child under 13, two counts of sexual activity with a child, and one count of sexual activity with a child under 13.

On Monday, Salter was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

The Hull Crown Court heard that Salter had raped her on numerous occasion and threatened her so that she complied with his sick desires.

The girl finally had the courage to confide in a friend and the police were called.

In a victim impact statement, the young traumatized girl said: “I felt like I had nothing to live for because of what he was doing to me.”

During sentencing, Judge Jeremy Richardson QC said that the girl is receiving counseling to help her with the trauma she suffered at the hands of Salter.

Parents allow child to defecate on airplane floor despite bathroom being vacant

People on an airplane were disgusted after parents allowed their young child to defecate on the floor.

The parents of China, have been criticized for allowing their son to defecate on the floor of the plane before takeoff.

The Shenzhen Airlines flight was traveling from Zhengzhou to Nantong, when the incident occurred.

The child’s mother and grandmother, who were not identified, were severely criticized by cabin crew and passengers when they were seen helping the child defecate on the floor in front of his seat.

The family said that the “bathroom was too small,” and it “would not fit all three of them,” the child, the mother and the grandmother.

The mother ignored the flight attendant who intervened during the incident, and even told her son to take his time because the plane has not taken off yet.

The family did not even bother to clean up the mess. They just covered the dirty floor with papers and used tissues, which angered cabin crew even more.

Shenzhen Airlines posted photos of the incident to their social media account to raise awareness about the issue as this has been a problem in the past.

Along with images of the indecent, the airline also tried to educate the public by saying that parents could use plastic bags or alert a flight attendant when a child is in urgent need of using the bathroom.

One legged man shoots at store during armed robbery

A man with just one leg and using crutches was seen on video shooting at a store in an attempt to rob the place.

The man was seen walking towards a cellphone store while balancing on his crutches when he suddenly pulled a gun.

The video, which was recorded by surveillance video in Turkey, was uploaded to the Internet by KurdishMan and has since gone viral.

The video shows the armed robber walking towards the store while pointing a gun at the people inside. He managed to shoot a few bullets before the firearm jammed.

While he was trying to get the gun to work again, people took the opportunity to flee from the store. One brave man decided to tackle the one legged would-be thief. He grabbed the suspect’s arm and threw him to the ground.

The two men then fought over the gun on the ground. The disabled man was trying to stop the other man from getting his gun.

After several moments, other people intervened and managed to take the gun away from the shooter. The video ends with the shooter being detained and led away from the scene.

Social media users take selfies with dead bodies to win cash in contest

Police in Russia, are investigating a new Internet craze in which people take selfies with corpses of dead people.

The craze began after a group on social media site VK, offered money to the best photo with a deceased person.

People are encouraged to smile as they pose for selfies with dead people because the “deceased has gone to a better place.”

Many people have uploaded photos of themselves standing next to a corpse, and the photos have gone viral. The main administrator of the social media site, who was identified as Alfred Polyakov, describes himself as a 28-year-old university professor.

Polyakov gives money to the best photos. People can win cash prizes of 1,000 to 5,000 ruble ($15 to $75).

The community which has 500 users, caught the attention of law enforcement after someone won $75 for uploading a photo with the body of a 13-year-old girl from Syktyvkar.

She died in a car accident, a police spokesperson said.

The community site is full of photos of people posing with corpses at funeral homes.

“We created the group to change the attitude toward death,” Polyakov said. “Death is the start of a new life,” he added.
