6-year-old girl gives heartwarming plea to divorced parents to become friends

(Scroll down for video) Millions of people were touched by a young girl who pleaded with her parents to get along better and become friends.

Cherish Sherry of British Columbia, Canada, posted the video of her daughter Tiana’s plea on Facebook.

“I want you and my dad to be settled and be friends.

I'm not trying to be mean. I just want everyone to be friends,” the girl said.

“If I can be nice, I think all of us can be nice too. I am not trying to be mean, I'm trying to do my best in my heart. Nothing more than that,” she continued.

“I want everyone to be smiling, not being mad. When I see someone, I want them to smile,” she pleaded.

She then encourages her mother by saying: “I think you can do it, Mom. I just want everything to be settled down, nothing else. For everything to be as good as possible. Nothing else.”

At the end of the video, Sherry thanks Tiana, and they give each other a hug and kiss.

Woman learns that her grandfather is also her father after he raped his daughter at gunpoint

A woman spoke of her heartache she suffered after learning that her mother was raped at gunpoint as a teenager by her own father.

38-year-old Jodi Cahill of Melbourne, Australia, received a shocking letter from her estranged mother, informing her of a secret that she had kept from the world for three decades.

In the heartbreaking letter, Cahill’s mother said that they shared the same father. The mother detailed the years of abuse she had suffered at the hands of her father, Raymond.

Cahill, who was raised by her divorced grandmother Juanita because her mother developed psychosis due to the abuse, took the news very hard.

The shock and disgust of the sudden discovery, led Cahill to attempt to commit suicide and then to suffer from anorexia.

She suddenly understood why her mother had such a hard time being around her as she was a constant reminded of the horrific abuse.

Cahill was in and out of the hospital due to her anorexia. She was fed from a tube for about four months. She finally made a full recovery after a few failed attempts.

Cahill said that she decided to share her story in an attempt to help other people suffering from anorexia.

Man breaks into house at 3:00 a.m. and steals pizza

Two women in Florida, was shocked to find a man in their apartment at 3:00 a.m.

Police said that the man broke into two houses in Boca Raton, first to steal a pizza and then to take a nap.

Police arrested 24-year-old Milor Michel on Wednesday. The incident began about 3:00 a.m., when a 19-year-old woman found the man inside her home in the 300 block of Northwest 21st Lane.

The woman said that she and her roommate found him in the kitchen, rummaging through their refrigerator before he removed pizza, according to the arrest report.

He then sat down on the couch to eat the pizza. He told the two roommates that he was a friend of their other roommate. The women did not believe him and demanded that he leave the house.

According to the police report, the man went out of the house, but he left a notebook behind, which helped police to find him.

After leaving the home, Michel entered another house in the neighborhood and fell asleep on the couch.

A 19-year-old woman who lived there, found Michel sleeping just before 7:00 a.m. Next to him was a half a container of orange juice. She asked the man to leave while another roommate called police.

Michel is accused of theft of an occupied structure and is being held at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Father banned for life from Disney World for making joke about bad customer service

(Scroll down for video) A father who was frustrated about the customer service Disney World, received a lifetime ban from the company.

The man of Florida, has been banned for life from all Disney parks after making a silly joke about a methamphetamine lab at a Walt Disney World hotel.

David Swindler, 54, of St. Augustine, has been a Disney fan for many years. However, he said that he was handed a no trespass order to all Disney parks.

Swindler, his wife Shelley, and his two children, were at Disney World when he wanted to extend his stay to a third night.

He called the front desk around 11:30 p.m., to see if there was a room was available for Sunday night.

After being put on hold for 15 minutes, Swindler hung up in frustration. When he called again, he jokingly said: “I could have built a meth lab in the time it has taken for you to answer my question.”

The worker allegedly thought that Swindler said that he built a math lab in the room and called police. Officers searched the hotel room and found no drugs.

Swindler said that he was shocked about the entire incident and he was mostly saddened by the lifetime ban to his favorite park.

He appealed the ban and is waiting for Disney security to review the case.

Man banned from children’s playgrounds after having sex with a slide

A man was arrested on a charge of outraging public decency after being seen having sex with a slide at a children's playground, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 46-year-old Christopher Johnson of Stoke, has been ordered to stay away from children's playgrounds for life after pleading guilty to indecent behavior.

The court order prohibits Johnson from entering parks, leisure centers, swimming pools, spas or playgrounds containing a slide.

Johnson also received a three-year community order, including sex offender treatment for 18 months.

According to the police investigation, officers were called to the Stoke Green Park after four people saw that he was having sex on a slide.

The court heard how Johnson undressed and performed a sex act on top of the slide.

Teenage couple charged with child pornography for having naked pictures of themselves on their phones

(Scroll down for video) Two teens were arrested on a charge of sexual exploitation of a child after they were found to have naked pictures of themselves on their phones, police in North Carolina said.

Now, Cormega Copening and Brianna Denson, who were both 16 years old at the time of their arrest, have been sentenced to do 30 hours of community service after pleading guilty to reduced charges as part of a plea bargain agreement with prosecutors.

Copening of Fayetteville, was charged with four counts of making and possessing pornographic images of himself as well as with one count of possession of a nude image for possessing a naked picture of his 16-year-old girlfriend Brianna Denson.

Denson also faced charges for having nude pictures of herself on her cellphone.

While the images were deemed illegal under state law, sex between the couple was not illegal as the legal age of consent is 16 years old.

The nude images were discovered by police as they were investigated the widespread distribution of sexual images without consent at the couple’s school.

Copening and Denson were sentenced to pay court costs, to attend a class on good decision making and perform 30 hours of community service.

They were also prohibited from possessing a cellphone for a year.

79-year-old man stalks young girl for days before exposing himself in front of her bedroom window

(Scroll down for video) Police in Florida, were called after a man was seen exposing himself to an 11-year-old girl.

Volusia County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested the man who was accused of following the 11-year-old girl as she walked her dog for several days.

He then exposed himself in front of the window of the girl’s bedroom.

79-year-old Rogelio Melot Rodriguez was arrested after the victim’s mother and brother witnessed the man touching his private parts in front of her daughter’s window.

The mother called police, and Rodriguez was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition and one count of aggravated harassment of a minor.

The mother told deputies that she had been watching closely because her daughter complained that Rodriguez was following her every day for two to three weeks as she was walking the family dog.

Rodriguez denied the charges. His family members stood by him in court and said that their must have been a misunderstanding.

Teen has stomach removed after bar served her liquid nitrogen while celebrating her 18th birthday

A bar was charged with negligence after serving a teen liquid nitrogen, which caused severe injuries to her stomach, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.

Now, Oscar's Wine Bar and Bistro of Lancaster, was sentenced to pay a fine of 100,000 pounds ($155,000) after pleading guilty to one count of failing in the duty of an employer to ensure the safety of persons not in its employment.

According to the police investigation, 20-year-old Gaby Scanlon of Lancashire, was celebrating her 18th birthday with friends at the Oscar’s Wine Bar and Bistro, when she drank the liquid nitrogen shot.

Scanlon’s stomach began to expand and was taken to the Lancaster Royal Infirmary, where a CT scan found a large perforation.

She spent three weeks in the hospital as doctors removed her stomach and connected her esophagus directly to the small intestine.

The incident completely changed the life of Scanlon, who is suffering from episodes of excruciating pain and can no longer enjoy food, the Preston Crown Court was told.

Mother walks into daycare to find worker sexually assaulting her 2-year-old son

(Scroll down for video) A woman in Queensland, Australia, found a daycare worker sexually assaulting her son.

Officials said that the woman who arrived at the daycare facility earlier than the scheduled pickup time, found her son being molested.

Police said that the 20-year-old male worker was in the laundry room of the daycare center with the 2-year-old boy.

Officials later raided the man’s home and found child exploitation material on his computer, which they seized.

Police said that the material was animated pictures and it was not related to the children of the daycare center.

The 20-year-old man is a blue card holder, which means that he had a background check done and that he is legally allowed to work with children.

He appeared before the Brisbane Magistrate’s Court on charges of attempted rape, entering premises with intent to commit and deprivation of liberty.

The man was released on bail and he was ordered to live with his mother. He was also ordered not to have unsupervised contact with a child under 16 years old.

Women steal their best friend’s teddy bears and sells them on ebay

Two women were arrested on a charge of burglary after they stole their best friends teddy bears and sold them on ebay for a fraction of their true value, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 45-year-old Rachel Reynolds 48-year-old Claire Cunningham, have been sentenced to serve to years in jail after pleading guilty to burglary.

Cunningham’s daughter, 22-year-old Fearne Cunningham, has been sentenced to serve 16 months in prison, which was suspended for two years, after admitting to selling the teddy bears on ebay.

According to the police investigation, the two women betrayed the trust of their friend by stealing her collection of Steiff teddy bears worth around $57,000.

About 100 of the collectible bears were sold on ebay for a fraction of their real value.

Reynolds and Cunningham used a key to the door of the victim to enter her home on Saxelbye Road, while she was out visiting her dying mother in a hospital.

The victim, Christine May, said that she was distressed by the loss of her bear collection. She initially suspected her children, but was later devastated to find out that her friends betrayed her.

The bears were sold on ebay for just $2,900.

Female attorneys ordered to remove their bras before meeting clients in prison

Female lawyers in Maine, are not happy with the new prison policy that demands them to remove their bras before entering prison.

The new policy that was introduced at the Cumberland County Jail, forces the attorneys to remove their underwire bras before they can meet their clients.

The attorneys were told that the policy was instituted because their underwire have been setting off the jail’s metal detectors.

Attorney Amy Fairfield said that she went to jail last week to meet with a client, and an agent of the Cumberland County sheriff’s Office ordered her to go to the bathroom to remove her bra because it set off the metal detector.

However, when she refused to remove it, Fairfield was turned away. She was not cleared to enter the prison.

Fairfield said that in the past, she was ordered to take off her bracelets, rings and hairclip in prison, but she has never been stopped at the metal detector due to her bra.

The deputy explained that the new policy was imposed by the administrator of the prison, Maj. John Costello. Fairfield attempted to contact with Costello, but he has not returned to her phone message.

Fairfield said that denying access to jail violated the constitutional rights of her client and is discrimination against her.

Doctor finds snake inside bottled water at government event

A doctor was shocked to find a baby snake inside his bottled water at a party.

The police in Chhattisgarh, India, said that the live baby snake was discovered in the bottle of drinking water, which was served at a government event.

A female doctor, who is part of the health minister's medical team, found the snake in the bottle during the event at the headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

People took photos of the snake in the water bottle before security forces at the event took it.

When the mineral water company was contacted about the incident, they allegedly called the incident a “conspiracy,” saying that the seal of the water bottle was broken.

After the discovery, all 20 bottles of water distributed at the event were taken away. The government has ordered all bottles of mineral water throughout the state to be inspected.
