Teenager stabs her stepmother because she hid her cellphone

A teenager was arrested on a charge of attempted murder after allegedly stabbing her stepmother because she hid her cellphone, police in Japan said.

Sapporo police said that they have arrested the 19-year-old woman, who was not identified, after being accused of trying to kill her stepmother because she hated her.

According to the police investigation, the suspect stabbed her stepmother in the shoulder and back in the living room of their house around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

After the teenager attacked her stepmother, she called the police using her smartphone. The mother was taken to a nearby hospital, where she is said to be is in a stable condition.

During questioning, she told police that she hated her stepmother because she married her father. The suspect also said that she does not care to be in jail and wanted to kill her stepmother because she hid her smartphone.

Nursing home employee chokes 97-year-old woman in her sleep because he was sick of taking care of seniors

A nursing home employee was arrested on a charge of attempted murder after allegedly trying to kill an elderly female patient because he was sick of taking care of her, police in Japan said.

Osaka police said that they have arrested 23-year-old Shogo Kano, after being accused of choking the 97-year-old woman as she was sleeping in her bed.

According to the police investigation, the incident occurred at the Sanrakuen nursing home on Saturday afternoon. Kano choked the woman with both hand until she passed out.

When he left, another employee came into the room and realized that something was wrong with the woman before calling police.

The woman, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital and is said to be in stable condition. During questioning, Kano told the police that he was exhausted from caring for elderly residents.

Man smashes convenience store employee’s car because he refused to give him free case of beer

A man was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly threatening a convenience store employee with a sledgehammer and smashing his car because he refused to give him a free case of beer, police in Florida said.

Riviera Beach police said that they have arrested 57-year-old Austin Bailey, after demanding a free case of beer from the store employee because he had done work in the shop and was not paid.

Bailey was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief. The incident unfolded at the convenience store located in the 100 block of West 19th Street.

According to the police investigation, Bailey threatened the store clerk with a sledgehammer and then damaged his car after being told he had to pay for the case of beer.

Bailey said that he was owed for work done around the store, including scrubbing the floors. Bailey left the store after the discussion and returned with the sledgehammer.

He threatened the clerk and demanded money. He then went out and smashed the car before leaving the property. Bailey was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, and his bail was set at $16,000.

Police officer gives woman ticket because she did not tell him she had HIV

(Scroll down for video) A police officer in Michigan, who became pissed off because a woman did not disclose she had HIV, decided to give her a ticket for marijuana possession despite having an expired medical marijuana license.

Now, the city of Dearborn, has agreed to pay $40,000 to the woman of Detroit, for her suffering.

Shalandra Jones filed a lawsuit against Dearborn, after police officer David Lacey scolded her for not telling him about her HIV as soon as he pulled her over for a broken tail light.

Lacey expressed his concern about contracting the disease, according to a video of the traffic stop. Lacey said that he did not want bring any disease home to his family.

He added that Dearborn does not have many people with HIV, and the police do not like people with the disease. Lacey told Jones that he would have not given her a ticket if she was disease free.

People with HIV are not required to tell the police about it.

Jones told Lacey that she had HIV because he found drugs that treat the disease in her car. Lacey gave the woman a ticket for marijuana possession after he found a small amount of marijuana in the car.

Jones had a medical marijuana license, but it had expired. The charge was eventually dismissed.

Man beats up woman because she refused to give him her seat on public bus

A woman in China, was beaten on a public bus after she refused to give up her seat to a man, according to a video uploaded to the Internet.

The video shows the moment the woman was beaten by the elderly man after refusing to give up her seat on the bus.

The woman was asked by fellow passengers to offer her seat to the elderly man, but when she refused, the man slapped her in the face.

The man is then seen hitting the woman in the head several times. After several scary minutes, one passenger managed to pull the elderly man away from the woman.

The video of the assault was uploaded to Facebook, where it went viral.

Surprisingly, some people defended the elderly man’s assault on social media sites, commenting that the woman acted in a disrespectful manner.

Lovers have sex in car while waiting at McDonald's drive-thru window

Two lovers were arrested on a charge of outraging public decency after they were seen having sex at a McDonald’s drive-thru window, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 28-year-old Lisa Gray and 24-year-old Rhys Higgins of Swansea, have been sentenced to serve four months in prison, which was suspended for one year, after pleading guilty to outraging public decency.

Gray has also been banned from going out at night for the next four months and Higgins must attend classes that teach the negative effects of alcohol.

The Swansea Crown Court was told that the employees at the drive-thru window had been disgusted by the incident.

After ordering their meal the employees realized that both Gray and Higgins were under the influence of alcohol and the manager called the police.

There was a delay with their meals because there was a problem with the grill. Meanwhile, Gray and Higgins began hugging and kissing each other.

They then performed sex acts on each other in full view of the public. The judge said that the couple turned their car into a human zoo.

Man files $10 million lawsuit against prison for allowing him to escape

A prison inmate filed a lawsuit against officials because they allowed him to escape from his cell by climbing down a 17 story building, according to court documents in Illinois.

40-year-old Jose Banks wants $10 million after suffering from trauma following the escape from the high-rise prison building.

Now, the Seventh U.S. Court of Appeals dismissed the lawsuit because a prisoner doesn’t have a right to be better monitored or restricted.

The court also ruled that prison officials have no obligation to prevent inmates from committing crimes.

According to the police investigation, Banks and his cellmate let themselves down 17 stories with a rope made of bed sheets and dental floss.

When the reached the street, they called a taxi and left the scene. Banks was captured after a few days on the run. In the lawsuit, Banks wanted compensation because he feared for his life while dangling from the high-rise building.

Banks has to endure more stringent restrictions than other inmates in prison because of his escape. Banks was sentenced to prison after being convicted of bank robbery.

Female bus driver pulls down her pants and urinates in school bus

(Scroll down for video) A female bus driver in Florida, is being investigated after being caught urinating on a school bus.

A man who was driving in Lee County, took a photo of the school bus driver who pulled her pants down and urinated while sitting on the steps of her school bus outside a school.

The man uploaded the photo to Facebook, where it went viral and reached school officials. The incident unfolded outside the Caloosa Middle School around 3:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

The man, who was identified as Anthony, said that he shared the photo on Facebook because he thought the driver was wrong to this in public.

The bus operators serving the school said that they launched an investigation into the incident.

Man pours liter of urine on police officer’s eyes and mouth

A man was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly pouring urine on a police officer who was trying to arrest him, police in Florida said.

Palm Beach County police said that the incident unfolded on Tuesday morning, as police tried to arrest 40-year-old Alfonsa J. Loftin.

According to the police investigation, when police responded to the suspect’s home located on Snead Circle, one officer was splashed with urine.

Loftin tried to harm the officer with the urine. The officers requested backup, and Loftin refused to come out from behind a wooden door.

After several hours of unsuccessful negotiations with Loftin, another officer kicked a small hole in the door. One officer then fired his Taser through the hole and it his Loftin's thigh.

Officers then kicked down the door and released a dog to tackle the suspect. Loftin however, began to choke the dog, and officers were forced to shoot the suspect three times with a Taser.

Loftin was booked into the Palm Beach County jail. He was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest with violence.

11-year-old boy delivers his baby brother as mother went into labor at home

(Scroll down for video) A woman said that her son acted as her doctor and her guardian angel as he delivered her baby at home.

11-year-old James Dukes of Marietta, Georgia, jumped into action to help deliver his baby brother.

James was at home with his mother Kenyarda, when she suddenly went into labor earlier than expected.

“Suddenly, I could not get to bed. I just collapsed on the floor,” she said. With her husband at work, James knew he had to help his mother.

James called police, and the emergency operator gave him instructions on what to do to help his mother deliver the baby and how to keep the newborn safe by removing mucus from the mouth and nose.

He was also told how to keep the baby warm until help could arrive.

The mother and baby are both doing well, and the family could not be more proud of James.

“He was my support, and he was my guardian angel. He was the man, he was the doctor, and he was my superhero," said Kenyarda.

The mother and her new baby boy named Royal, were transferred to a nearby hospital, where they met Dr. Eric Brown, who was supposed to deliver the baby.

Dr. Brown said that he will take James to his office, where they will spend time together as James now dreams of becoming a doctor to help other people just as he helped his mother in a time of need.

Woman becomes U.S. citizen and changes her name to Oprah Winfrey

Bonita Dunbar of Durham, North Carolina, changed her name to Oprah Winfrey, as she aspires to be like the famous talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

Dunbar who is from Liberia, became a citizen of the United States on Friday. She decided it would also be the perfect opportunity to change her name.

“If I had a choice to be someone in life, I would be someone who inspires others, someone who can touch lives and change history,” Dunbar said.

Dunbar came to the United States in 1993 as a refugee. She was unable to read or write. However, she did not let this stop her from accomplishing great things.

Dunbar has already graduated from college. She owns a business in Cary, and she has written a book.

2 men dressed as women crash into elderly woman's car to extort money from her

(Scroll down for video) Police have arrested 2 men who claimed to be women after purposely hitting an elderly woman’s car.

The two alleged fraudsters are in jail after their failed attempts of fraud and theft of the elderly woman.

The incident happened at the Super Walmart in West Monroe, Louisiana. Police said that Cedrick Lamarcus Ivory, 27, staged an accident to make it look like an elderly woman hit him. Meanwhile, Torey Cortez Smith, 27, played the role of a witness.

The suspects made it appear as if the elderly woman hit their Mustang, and then tried to convince the woman not to call the police as they worked on her to make a cash settlement, but the woman called the police.

The two “women” told police that they did not know each other. However, when officers arrived and reviewed security footage, they saw the two suspects together before the accident.

Police also discovered that the women are really men, who were dressed as women, and they stole about $100 worth of merchandise from Walmart. The items were recovered from a bag belonging to Smith, police said.

Smith and Ivory were booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on charges of theft of goods, attempted theft and illegal possession of stolen goods.

Former judge and lawyer leaves her children in locked car while representing client in court

(Scroll down for video) A lawyer is now on the wrong side of the law after she left 2 young children in her car.

Kimberly Bandoh of Georgia, who was a former magistrate judge in Clayton County, was arrested for leaving her children in the car while she was in court representing a client.

A passerby noticed the two children locked in the car in the parking of the Riverdale Municipal Court around 8:15 a.m. on Thursday.

The man entered the courthouse and alerted an officer who came outside and found that 2 boys who were left unattended.

The officer went back inside the courthouse and made an announcement, asking if anyone knew whose children were left in the car.

Bandoh admitted that the 2 and 3 year-old boys were hers. Police said that the children were in the car for at least 20 minutes.

The boys were not hurt and were placed in the care of their grandmother. Bandoh was arrested on a misdemeanor charge for leaving children unattended in a vehicle.

2 bus drivers expose themselves to students by mooning and touching private parts

The bus drivers of Norman, Oklahoma, allegedly lured students to where they were smoking while waiting for them to get on the buses.

The mother of the victim said that the men exposed themselves to her daughter. One man pulled his pants down and exposed his backside and the other touched his private parts in front of her teenage daughter.

One mother said that the school counselor dismissed the incident and the school allowed the bus drivers to continue driving the children immediately after the incident.

Now, the Norman High School said that they suspended the drivers in question and they are cooperating with police.

The Norman Police Department confirmed that they are investigating the incident, and they are talking to the woman and to teenager who witnessed the incident.

Couple finds mystery creature with whiskers inside toilet bowl

(Scroll down for video) A couple was horrified to find a weird creature in their toilet bowl.

The couple of Mississippi, who returned from their honeymoon, shared photos of a mysterious creature that they discovered in the bowl of their toilet.

Carol-Anne and Ronald Morris of Clinton, said that they had returned from their honeymoon about 4:45 a.m., when they found the bizarre creature in their toilet bowl.

The couple described the animal as a large brown mass with ears and whiskers on it.

The couple posted photos of the creature to social media sites in hopes of identifying it. Some people and friends suggested that it could be a rat, mole, squirrel or other small rodent.

However, Jackson zoo director Beth Poff was equally perplexed. “It's very hard to say. I cannot even give a good guess,” Poff said.

The couple said that the animal was already dead when they found it. The couple called a pest control company to come to their home to make sure that there are not more of these creatures in their house.

190 students injured in botched school fire drill as real smoke was used

School officials who attempted to make a fire drill appear realistic, said that many students were injured during the event.

A total of 191 students in China, have been hospitalized, according to the government officials.

The number of students who are in critical condition rose to 37. Officials said that the fire drill went wrong at a school in Gansu, after smoke was used to imitate a real fire.

The students from the junior high school participated in the fire drill, which involved smoke.

Many students began coughing and vomiting after inhaling the smoke.

A group of experts sent by the National Health and Family Planning Commission arrived on Monday, to help treat the injured students.

Man forced to choose his mother or wife who were drowning at same time

A family fishing trip has gone bad after their boat overturned.

28-year-old Wang Fei Guo and his wife of four years Xiaoqing, took a trip to his mother’s home in China.

The mother’s home is near a lake, which is a well-known fishing spot. Xiaoqing asked her husband to take her out on the lake. Wang Fei, who had not been out fishing for a while, agreed.

His mother asked if she could come along. During the trip, the boat overturned, causing both women to fall into the water.

Wang Fei knows how to swim, but his wife and mother do not. When the two women started drowning, Wang Fei immediately went to save his wife.

When his wife was safe, he rescued his mother.

After the three were safely out of the water, Wang Fei’s mother was taken to a hospital. Wang Fei's father was enraged by the decision of his son to save his wife first.

However, he later said that he understands his son as “how can a man choose between the 2 women he loves.”

When the story was posted on the Internet, people had different opinions about the rescue.

Some believe that a man only has one mother, but can always get another wife, while others defended his actions.

The mother said that she does not blame her son for his decision.
