News reporter claims employer punished her and not black employees because she is a white woman

A television news reported filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against her employer, claiming that she was punished because she is a white woman, according to court documents in Michigan.

Now, Leslie Toldo settled the lawsuit with ABC12, before going to trial in front of Genesee Circuit Judge Geoffrey Neithercut.

Toldo will receive $79,900 after claiming that ABC12 discriminated against her because she is a white woman.

According to the lawsuit filed in court, Toldo was disciplined during her tenure at the station for doing the same things that black or male employees did without being punished.

Toldo was punished for being a few minutes late for meetings, while black employees came late without being disciplined.

She also was called out for dresses that she chose to use at work. Toldo worked as an anchor, reporter and meteorologist at the station.

Toldo also claimed that her contract wasn’t renewed because she complained about the violations of women’s rights at the station.

In the lawsuit, Toldo asked for $100,000.

Transgender woman impregnates her transgender male partner

The transsexual man has revealed that he was impregnated by his transgender female partner.

33-year-old Diane Rodriguez is a transsexual woman who used to be a man. Two years ago, she meet the love of her life, 22-year-old Fernando Machado, who used to be a woman.

The two met on social networks, quickly fell in love and now, their dreams of having a family came true. The couple said that they are about to become the first transsexual couple in Ecuador to have a baby.

Machado of Venezuela, announced that he is three-months pregnant. He moved to Ecuador to live with Rodriguez, after they met online.

The couple announced their pregnancy on Facebook.

Machado and Rodriguez did not undergo surgery during their gender reassignment process, therefore, getting pregnant was still possible.

Machado said that after announcing his decision to be transgender, he was fully supported by his family and loved ones. However, Rodriguez was not so fortunate. She was rejected by her family.

She said: “This was our wish and there was nothing biological or legal that could to stop us.”

Teenager begs police officer to rape him

A teenager was placed on the sex offenders list after his bizarre behavior.

Police were called after 19-year-old Gary Hillon of Paisley, Scotland, asked a woman for sex.

The Paisley Sheriff Court heard that Hillon, walked over to a 40-year-old woman and said: “can I ask you a question?”

When she said that he can, he said: “Can I have sex with you?”
She replied with a firm “no,” so he walked away.

He started to walk away, but came back and asked her again if she would sleep with him, prompting her to call the police when she returned home.

Officers found Hillon climbing over a fence, and he was arrested. Police said that he was under the influence of alcohol and unsteady on his feet.

While he was taken to the police station, Hillon asked the officers to stop immediately and rape him in a rest area.

He shouted repeatedly for the officers in the car to have sex with him. In court, Hillon pleaded guilty to three charges of making sexual comments to the woman and to police officers, and for assaulting and spitting at an officer.

Parents change their 3-year-old son’s name to Popcorn because he likes it

Parents of an adorable 3-year-old boy in the United Kingdom, announced that they will change their child’s name to Popcorn because he likes to be called by that name.

36-year-old Huw Roberts and 37-year-old Hazel Williams of Conwy, revealed that they selected Popcorn as a nickname for Diesel Roberts, because he constantly kicked his mother’s womb like popcorn while she was pregnant.

The parents wrote the name Diesel on their son’s birth certificate, but they are now ready to legally change it to Popcorn.

Popcorn started out as the boy's nickname, but now, everyone calls him Popcorn and he only responds to this name. All his friends call him Popcorn as well, and he likes it.

The couple also has two older children, Paige, 14, and Tyler, 16.

Currently, there are no other children named Popcorn in the country.

Man smears dog feces on face of woman’s cat

Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of animal cruelty after allegedly smearing dog feces on the face of a woman’s cat, police in the United Kingdom said.

Swindon police said that the cat owner saw the man attacking her pet that was playing outside of her home located on Twineham Road.

Hannah Bissell called the police after witnessing the shocking attack on her cat named Cinnamon on Saturday. The man shoved feces into its face before beating it.

The four-year-old cat suffered scratches on its body and was taken to a veterinarian. Police are appealing to anyone who can help them identify the offender.

He is described as a white male, about 30 years old, medium height and build, light brown hair and wearing a navy blue sweater.

Police would also like to speak with another man who witnessed the attack.

Animal rights activists shove cat and dog feces into mouths of innocent people

A group of six animal rights activists were arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly beating two innocent people who were accused of torturing cats, police in China said.

Shanghai police said that the activists assaulted the two innocent victims despite knowing that they were not the people behind a series of cat abuse videos that were uploaded to the Internet.

According to the police investigation, the six activists lured the victims identified as Liu and Yi, to a forest, where they were tortured.

One suspect threw a glass bottle filled with cat and dog feces at the man, while another attacker uses scissors to cut the hair of the woman.

Before leaving the forest, the activists forced open the mouths of the victims and shoved in cat feces. Both Liu and Yi suffered bruises all over their body.

The activists were all charged with picking quarrels and provoking trouble. If convicted, they face up to five years in prison.

Thief pays for $15 meal at restaurant before escaping with $10 tip jar but without his food

(Scroll down for video) Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of theft after allegedly stealing a tip jar from a restaurant, police in New Zealand said.

Christchurch police said that the incident unfolded on Friday around 5:00 p.m. at the Nandos Riccarton restaurant.

The owner of the restaurant, Yateen Lallu, said that the thief ended up with a bad deal as he placed in order for a meal that totaled $15 while the tip jar only contained $10.

The incident was recorded on the store’s security cameras and was uploaded to Facebook, where it went viral. The video shows the thief sitting down and waiting for his food before looking around to see if he can steal the tip jar.

He then got up quietly and looked around. When no one was looking, he quickly placed the tip jar in his bag. The man went to the bathroom before the restaurant owner’s wife discovered that the tip jar was missing.

The owner confronted the man when he came out of the toilet, but he denied the allegations.

Passengers leave fake ticking bomb in airplane toilet causing emergency landing

Passengers of an Air France flight freaked out after finding a ticking time bomb in a toilet while flying from Mauritius to France, police in Kenya said.

Police said that the object resembled a stopwatch, which was mounted in a cardboard box.

It was found in the Boeing 777 bathroom before the plane was diverted to Mombasa. No explosives were found in the device.

Six passengers were questioned about the object, but no charges have been filed. All 459 passengers and 14 crew members landed safely.

Flight AF463 left Mauritius around 9:00 p.m., and was due to arrive in Paris around 5:50 a.m.

At first, passengers thought that the emergency landing was due to a technical problem with the toilet, but once the plane landed, they were told that there was a suspicious device in the toilet.

The object made ticking sounds and looked like a pipe bomb.

Boy Scouts leader gives alcohol and marijuana to 13-year-old boy

(Scroll down for video) A Boy Scouts leader was arrested on a charge of failure to exercise control of a minor after allegedly giving alcohol and marijuana to a teenage boy, police in New York said.

The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 32-year-old Lawrence Moschitta of Long Island, after being accused of giving alcohol and marijuana to the 13-year-old boy while he was at his home.

Moschitta was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and failure to exercise control of a minor. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $2,500.

Troop 183 announced that Moschitta is no longer with the Boy Scouts.

According to the police investigation, on Wednesday, Moschitta gave alcohol and marijuana to the 13-year-old boy who was visiting his home.

The boy is a Boy Scouts member. The father of Moschitta, Anthony Moschitta, called the allegations shocking and false.

He also said that his son would never endanger any child.

Man calls police to ask for marijuana rolling papers

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana after allegedly calling police and asking for marijuana rolling papers, police in Virginia said.

Waynesboro police said that they have arrested 24-year-old Kyle Dustin Head, after being accused of sitting his car and being covered in marijuana.

Head was charged with one count of marijuana possession, and was released from jail on his own recognizance. According to the police investigation, Head placed a 911 call and requested some marijuana rolling papers.

The dispatcher sent officers to Head’s location in the 1800 block of North Talbott Place. Two officers who arrived at the scene, found Head sitting in his car, which had a strong odor of marijuana.

Officers found loose particles of leafy plant material on the dashboard, passenger seat and on Head’s clothing. Some marijuana was also found in Head’s ear.

Head explained that he was smoking marijuana and needed additional rolling papers. Instead of calling his friend, he misdialed and called the police.

Divorced woman slapped with lawsuit after writing loser on alimony checks to husband

A divorced woman was slapped with a lawsuit after allegedly causing her former husband to have heart attacks by writing the word loser on the alimony checks that she gives to him every week, according to court documents in New Jersey.

61-year-old Francis Wagner of Denville, is seeking unspecified damages for infliction of emotional distress and harassment.

His former wife, 57-year-old Diane Wagner, was ordered by the family court to give her former husband $186 every week.

Francis Wagner claimed that his former wife wrote loser and other derogatory remarks in the memo line of the checks, causing him to suffer heart attacks due to stress.

Diane Wagner claimed that as far she is concerned, she can write whatever she wants in the memo line of the checks because they are notes to herself.

She also said that she was the victim in the marriage that lasted for 10 years.

Francis Wagner said that he contacted a lawyer after seeing one of the checks with the derogatory remark in the memo line on Facebook.

The lawyer sent a cease and desist notice, but she ignored it.

Man who killed his brother for trying to poison his food sues prison for failure to serve waffles

A killer who was incarcerated for murdering his brother for allegedly trying to poison his food, filed a lawsuit against a prison in Michigan, because they failed to serve waffles for breakfast.

Now, a federal judge has dismissed the lawsuit filed by 44-year-old Iatonda Taylor of Grand Rapids, saying that he failed to prove that the Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility, left him vulnerable to injuries by failing to serve inmates waffles for breakfast.

Taylor was sentenced to prison after being convicted of murder in connection with the death of his brother, 36-year-old Moise Taylor.

According to the police investigation, Iatonda Taylor killed his brother because he accused him of poisoning his food. Taylor told the court the a riot almost broke out one morning, when the waffles ran out before all the inmates were served.

Instead, those who did not get waffles, were served peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The prisoners became agitated and threatened to riot if waffles were not brought to them from a nearby store.

Prison officials threatened prisoners with handcuffs and solitary confinement, and after additional officers arrived, they managed to prevent a riot.

Taylor was not disciplined. Taylor claimed that he lives in constant fear and his nutritional needs were not met because he didn’t get waffles for breakfast.

Anthony Cumia of the ‘Opie and Anthony’ show arrested for abusing girlfriend

Anthony Cumia of the “Opie and Anthony” show, is known for his fun and loving side.

However, he was arrested for allegedly abusing his girlfriend at his home in New York.

26-year-old Danielle Brand uploaded a video to the Internet, showing her broken hand and bruises to her body after she was beaten by her boyfriend.

Prosecutors said that Cumia, 54, stomped on his girlfriend’s hand, strangled her and pinned her against a wall after an argument.

In the video, which went viral, Brand said that she was at Cumia’s home in Long Island, and waited for police to arrive to report the abuse.

She showed off her broken arm and some of her bruises. Brand said that she also had bruises on her breasts, “but you won't be so lucky to see that,” she told her fans in the video.

When Cumia realized that he was being recorded, he made light of the situation and denied hurting her. He was arrested and charged with assault.

Cumia denied the allegations. A judge released Cumia without setting bail, but ordered him to stay away from Brand.

Drunk man attempts to commit suicide after crashing his porsche and killing his fiancee

(Scroll down for video) A man was devastated after seeing the dead body of the woman he loved.

Police in New York, said that the man was drunk when he crashed his Porsche into the back of a school bus.

Kyung Song, 29, of Long Island, attempted suicide after seeing his fiancee's crushed body. Police said that Song, told officers that his fiancee told him to slow down before his car crashed in Flushing, Queens, around 3:30 a.m. on Friday.

After seeing his fiancee crushed in his 2014 Porsche Cayman, Song got into his car and attempted to commit suicide by strangling himself with the string of a hoodie, but failed.

The woman, identified by police as 24-year-old Nara An, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said that Song was twice the legal blood-alcohol limit when he crashed his $60,000 Porsche into the parked school bus.

Song, who is a grad student in the pharmacy program at Long Island University, was arrested and was charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter. He is being held on $750,000 bond.

He was placed on suicide watch at his lawyer’s request. Police said that An, was working at a karaoke bar in New Jersey.

Police officer charged after drunk man falls over police boat and dies while handcuffed

(Scroll down for video) A family in Missouri, is looking for justice after their son died while in police custody.

Police officer Anthony Piercy, 44, was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter after he failed to properly secure a drunk man following his arrest.

Brandon E. Ellingson, who would have turned 22 years old this month, was at the Lake of the Ozarks, when he was arrested on suspicion of driving his boat while drunk.

Officer Piercy arrested Ellingson, and placed him in handcuffs on the police boat, but he failed to secure Ellingson’s life vest.

Ellingson somehow fell overboard while his hands were cuffed behind his back. His life vest was immediately found in the water, but the body was found the next day.

Officer Piercy was initially cleared of any wrongdoing after a jury ruled the death an accident. However, the victim's family pushed for charges to be filed against the officer.

Prosecutor William Seay was assigned to investigate the drowning. He announced the charges of manslaughter against the officer.

Seay said that he reviewed many boxes of reports and records with regard to Officer Piercy's investigation, including his training and expertise, and after a thorough investigation, he decided to file charges against him.

Man calls 911 to ask to be killed by police before his wish was granted

A man who wanted to die, called police and asked to be killed by an officer.

Police in California, said that a deputy shot and killed the suicidal man who charged at the officer with a knife on a busy street in Camarillo.

Sheriff Geoff Dean said that 23-year-old Bryant Neil Duncan, stole a phone from a 7-Eleven convenience store in Ventura County, and called 911 to say that a crime was going to happen and that he wanted to be killed by the police.

Dean said that when the deputy arrived, Duncan asked to be shot.

The deputy initially kept his distance, but when Duncan repeatedly charged at him with the knife in hand, the deputy opened fire.

Duncan shot him several times and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators recovered a knife at the scene. A video of the incident was uploaded to the Internet, and has gone viral.

Perverted teacher sleeps with 13-year-old student before recording her mother in the shower

A teacher was arrested after his 13-year-old girlfriend became jealous when she learned that he is interested in her mother.

The 42-year-old teacher of Singapore, was found guilty of statutory rape for having sex with his young student.

The suspect taught English and math at a junior high school when he began having an illicit relationship with the girl.

The teacher first became close to his student when he offered to become her tutor. He then seduced the 13-year-old girl.

The two were having sex when the teacher convinced the student's mother to allow him to live with her family. The teacher told the mother that he recently divorced his wife and that he did not have a place to stay.

He offered to pay rent in exchange for a room in the home, and the victim’s mother agreed. At the time, she was not aware that the teacher was having sex with her young daughter.

The teacher then secretly began recording the victim’s mother in the shower and uploaded the videos to his computer.

When his young lover found the videos on his computer, she became angry and reported him to the police.

A judge sentenced the teacher to between 5 and 7 years in prison. He was also fired from his teaching job.

Mother and son taken to jail after he called 911 to get taxi when his mother was arrested for drunk driving

(Scroll down for video) A mother and son were taken to jail after police pulled them over on suspicion of drunk driving.

22-year-old Josh Hachtmeyer of Florida, was a passenger in a car that was driven by his mother when she was pulled over for driving under the influence

His mother was arrested after she was found to be driving while intoxicated. Officers told Hachtmeyer that he will have to find someone to take him home as he was too drunk to drive his mother’s car.

However, rather than calling a cab, Hachtmeyer called 911 and asked the dispatcher for the phone number of a cab company.

In response, the dispatcher asked Hachtmeyer if he had 4-1-1 or Google on his phone so he can find the number on his own.

When the three officers who were still at the scene realized that Hachtmeyer had called 911, one of them took the phone from Hachtmeyer and apologized to the dispatcher.

Hachtmeyer was arrested and taken to jail alongside his mother. He was charged with a misdemeanor for misuse of a 911.

Woman suing 6-year-old girl for causing injuries while skiing after losing case against her father and ski teacher

A woman wants a judge in Austria, to order a young girl to pay her a large sum of money for causing her injuries.

The woman was seriously injured when the child collided with her during a ski trip.

The unnamed woman of Feldkirch, is suing the child for $41,155 for her injuries as well as any other future costs related to the accident.

According to court documents, the woman was heading straight down a hill at the Hochhaedrich resort, when the girl suddenly turned and the two collided.

An independent investigator who was appointed by the court, testified that both, the woman and the 6-year-old girl had not paid enough attention and therefore, they share the blame.

Children cannot usually be liable in civil cases, but the plaintiff is using a legal loophole, which allows children to be held financially responsible if the child is able to recognize the consequences of their actions.

The woman has previously sued the father of the girl and her ski teacher, but the case was dismissed. The father and the teacher testified in court again at this new trial.

Woman without legs who was abandoned by parents becomes lingerie model

23-year-old Kanya Sesser, who was born without legs, is a multi-sport athlete, and she now has a career as an underwear model.

When Sesser was born without legs in Thailand, her parents abandoned her on the steps of a Buddhist temple. Sesser, was adopted by a couple in Portland, Oregon, when she was 5 years old.

Since then, she has overcome the odds to prove that her disabilities do not have to limit her. Sesser enjoys skateboarding, skiing and surfing, and she is now an underwear model for the PantyProp underwear company.

PantyProp underwear is designed to hide a sanitary napkin and hold it in place while preventing leakage and discomfort.

Sesser, who goes by the slogan “no legs, no limits,” said that the PantyProp is about empowering women to be comfortable and feel sexy in their own skin. “I'm sexy in my own skin,” she said.
