Police launched an investigation after a group of female police officers decided to join a sex party instead of patrolling the streets during a terror alert, police in Belgium said.
Brussels police said that the incident unfolded while soldiers were patrolling the streets following the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris, France.
Two female police officers and eight male soldiers were allegedly involved in the sex party at a police station in Ganshoren, while the city was in a state of emergency.
The officers and soldiers engaged in sex while schools, universities, museums, the subway system, shops, restaurants and bars were closed.
The lock down was imposed as police officers and soldiers hunted for terrorists in the city believed to have been involved in the attacks in Paris.
The female soldiers had been sleeping in the police station for two weeks.
