(Scroll down for video) A lawyer was arrested on a charge of abduction after allegedly taking a computer technician hostage and threatening to kill him if he doesn’t fix his computer, police in Virginia said.
Arlington police said that they have arrested 50-year-old Joseph Nestor Mondello, after being accused of holding a gun and threatening the computer technician who came to his home to fix a computer.
Mondello was charged with abduction by force or intimidation and use of a firearm in a felony. He was booked into the Arlington County Jail, and his bail was set at $20,000.
According to the police investigation, Mondello called the technician on Monday, after he had computer problems in his home located in the 2700 block S. Grove Street.
The technician, who was not identified, tried to fix the computer when Mondello claimed that he is just making the problems worse.
When the technician wanted to leave the home, Mondello refused to let him go. Mondello told him that he cannot leave until his computer was fixed.
He then grabbed a gun and threatened to kill the technician slowly. Mondello’s wife however, claims that the technician made up the entire story because he felt insulted.
