15-year-old boy threatens to kill his mother with machete after piece of his board game went missing

(Scroll down for video) A boy who became extremely angry after a piece of his board game was missing, threatened to kill his own mother with a machete, police in Utah said.

The West Jordan Police Department said that they have arrested the 15-year-old boy, who was not identified, after he pulled the machete and threatened to stab his mother with it.

He was charged with one count of making threats, and remains in custody.

According to the police investigation, around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, police officers were called to the boy’s house located on South Dixie Drive, on a report of a domestic dispute.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, noticed that a woman, who was identified as the boy’s mother, had an injury on her nose.

The mother told police that her son was waving the machete around and making threats to kill her. The boy was also accused of headbutting his mother.

The boy told police that he held the machete, but did not remove it from its holder. The mother told police that her son became angry when some pieces of his new board game went missing.
