Police are looking to arrest a group of burglars who broke into a restaurant and cooked themselves burgers before writing a thank you note on the wall, police in the United Kingdom said.

Lancashire police said that the suspects broke into the Colne Football Club restaurant on Saturday after 7:00 p.m. following a game.

According to the police investigation, the burglars smashed a glass window to gain access to the restaurant. They then opened a freezer and removed burgers and rolls.

They poured oil on a grill and cooked themselves burgers.

Before leaving, they wrote a thank you note on the restaurant wall, saying: ‚Äúthank you for the burgers, they was great.” The burglars also stole at least 10 bottles of alcohol.

The owner of the restaurant said that the suspects caused about $1,500 in damages. So far, no arrests have been made.

This was not the first time that the restaurant has been burglarized. Over the past year, the restaurant suffered from three break ins.
