A man was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after allegedly stealing steak and cream cheese and hiding the food under his clothes, police in South Carolina said.
Myrtle Beach police said that they have arrested 45-year-old Wesley Deane Stiller, after being accused of stealing raw steak, cream cheese and beer from the Food Lion supermarket.
Stiller was charged with one count of shoplifting.
According to the police investigation, officer were called to the Food Lion located in the 1000 block of Highway 501 around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, on a report of a man shoplifting.
A store employee told the police officer who arrived at the scene, that he saw Stiller walking over to the meat section and placing a package of steaks in his pants.
Stiller then went to the dairy section, took a package of cream cheese and placed it under his shirt. Stiller then went to the fridge and placed two 24-ounce cans of beer under his shirt.
He then walked out of the store without paying for the items.
