A man who was on the run, was unhappy when police published an unflattering photo of him.
45-year-old Donald Pugh of Ohio, who is wanted by the police, was not happy with the mugshot that police posted to their Facebook page in an effort to get people to turn him over.
Pugh was wanted by the police after receiving a DUI and failure to appear in court. He took a selfie and sent the Lima Police Department a “better” picture of himself with the caption: “Here is a better photo, that one is terrible.”
Police then shared the selfie, showing Pugh wearing a jacket and sunglasses. “This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself,” the police department wrote in the Facebook post.
“We thank you for being helpful, but now we would appreciate if you would come and speak to us in the LPD about the charges.”
After posting the selfie, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office received a tip over Pugh’s whereabouts, and he was arrested.
