Police were called to Walmart in South Carolina, after a woman assaulted two employees.

When police arrived, they found a severed finger on the floor.

Police said that 23-year-old Carolynn Wright, was stopped by loss prevention officers as she left the Walmart in Myrtle Beach.

Two female employees confronted the woman after they noticed that she took merchandise and left the store without paying.

Wright became angry and punched one woman in the head, “causing bleeding around her left ear,” police said.

She also bit down on Candice Lawson’s finger, “causing a portion to fall off,” according to police.

When a Walmart customer called 911, Wright grabbed the phone and would not return it. Wright pulled the hair of the good Samaritan.

Police said that they found “a piece of a finger” belonging to Lawson. The victim was rushed to a hospital, but doctors were not able reattached the finger.

Wright was charged with aggravated assault, a felony, simple assault, and larceny. She is being held without bond.

Last year, Wright was convicted of hitting a stipper at a club over the head with a stiletto shoe. In that case, she was sentenced to 6 days in jail and ordered to pay fines and court costs totaling $174.
